if you could get a used gtx 970 for 100 euros maybe or less that would be really killer
>gtx 1060 3gb
nah
Your GPU has a good memory type, but its worth to have more VRAM
Same with your normal RAM
don't fucking buy an AMD X CPU if you're getting a shitty B350. Kingston is okay but get 16GB or you'll be getting memory leaks every where. Don't just get a random PSU you tool, there's Sup Forums recommendations for a reason
so getting a used 970 would be a better option?
yeah, i was thinking about getting double 8x since its not that expensive
and if this isn't a good build could one of you recommend me a good one for about 500-600 euors?
./....
i guess it really depends but yeah if u know a guy with a used gtx 970 for really cheap u should get that or a gtx 980ti
ok brother, u know any good cpu that would match either 970 or 980ti nicely? i dnt want any bottlenecks
newegg.com
G4560 with 1050ti
What country are you from where you have to buy via Euros
you cant be srs lol
i figure this guy has a low budget. If not, go intel for the single thread speed. youre going to want to do vr down the road. I say
i5 8600k
Get a 1600 instead with free wraithe spire cooler instead.
Also don't fall for the 3gb meme, just take a 6gb or stick to 1050 TI.
Your build doesn't need 700 watts, 550w is fine.
seems like a good match desu
No, AMD is trash
Go for the i5 8400 instead
you might be right but ive heard everywhere that amdcpuxnvidia gpu is a good match. cuz u spend less for an cpu n u get a good performance so you have tons on the side for a strong gpu
>AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.50GHz
i wouldnt be here asking for an advice if i was experienced lol
Get a 6gb, cuck
it's something like $50 more expensive
if money is that much of problem, then just buy a console instead
that thing costs about 70% of my overall budget for a pc so i guess not
it looks like youre going for a budget build to target 1080p. If that's the case go for the 7600 with 1050ti.
Get a i7 6700k and a Z170 mobo and experience the SANICS.
Also 3GB 1060 is a meme, never get a 3 GB card. Go up to 6GB.
retard
do not go with amd for now, their single thread speed is too low
I did an experimental build with ryzen 5, it really doesn't preform like the old hit tier AM3 processor, I think its a solid competitor to intel's lineup
youtube.com
go for it.
Wouldn't buy it myself.
You don't need a 700W PSU for that bit of hardware.
The 3GB on the GPU are not enough.
8GB RAM are on the low end - if you buy a new mainboard and CPU buy 16GB.
The PC Mate series mainboards are workstation boards and some people had issues reaching decent CPU and RAM clock rates on them with as some OC related settings are locked in the BIOS.
What you buy there is an office machine with a GPU that can at most run a top-down game like DotA2 or 4 year old 3D titles. Anything new will choke unless you significantly reduce settings.
>buy a console instead
what a fucking retarded suggestion
wasnt aware of that thanks
++
going for this prob +16 gb ram, seems like a good deal so thanks a ton for suggesting
>get pajeet-tier hardware because of $50~100
what a fucking retarded suggestion
OP, just save more money and buy better parts.
>random psu
say it with me user: don't jew on your psu
get a nice one and you're set for a decade or more.
its time for an upgrade buddy my machinces old, it can barely handle anything anymore so i5 76k and 1050ti would be like switching from a $200 car to a lamborghini
so what's the hardest part about building a pc? I'm building one for the first time and it seems like it's mostly slotting shit in after the motherboard (which was only slightly tricky because I had to actually read the instructions to find out where the cables for my case went.)
If you save an extra 200 you could probably get a 6600k or even a 1070.
Those two will make a HUGE difference.
>so what's the hardest part about building a pc?
the tiny headers for power switch, hdd led, etc. but that's nitpicking.
which one do you think i should go for? i've never really had any troubles with psu ever so getting a random one for cheap seems like a good idea at least for me
Get an i5-7600K and a 1060 6gb. 3gb VRAM is shit for some games and will cuck you from reaching ultra settings with consistent FPS.
>AMemeD
>1060 6gb
if i get a 6gb gpu i won't be able to get i5-7600k and other parts, so either 2 or 4gb
Save the money and future proof yourself. You'll thank yourself and spend less money in the long run.
>pcpartpicker.com
wouldnt 1050ti 4gb n i5-7600k be a better choice than those two you linked?
cpu.userbenchmark.com
Yea you're right about the CPU, however take a look at the GPU and you be the judge.
gpu.userbenchmark.com
That's a huge boost for an extra ~$75.
Holy shit this board is dumb as fuck.
>thinking 50$ makes the difference between good tier and pajeet tier
His build is already much better than any console out now and will run AAA titles on high at 60+ fps, its by no means a shit tier
>8gb ram
>almost 2018
You fucking idiot
Most recent game run good even in the 3gb
>logicalincrements.com
aid for you
ive settled for 1050ti 4gb n i5-7600k + 16gb ram aftering hearing advices from people so, original build was just a test of mine to see what people would think of it and whether its worth buying or not, glad i posted this thread
Whatever you do, don’t get only 8 gigs of ram. While it’s ok for most games as of now, there are already some games out that get extra stutters with only 8gb and I have no doubt that they will become more common very quickly. If you cheap out on it now, you will regret it.
Also, try to stretch budget to
>Ryzen 5 1600
>GTX 1060 6GB
It will cost you a bit more, but the improvements will be massive. I’d say that your original build looks like a bit of compromise build, but with these adjustments it should be a good value-sensible option with no major weaknesses for 1080p gaming.
>1500x instead of 1600
>1060 3gb instead of 6
>700w instead of 500w
for the price to performance ratio, ryzen 5 is better than i5, and i7 is better than ryzen 7, just thought you should know, save your money on the processor and upgrade the gpu
Also, don’t just think that PSU is some lolrandom component, it’s a major factor in the noise levels and relibility of the PC. You don’t exactly need 700W, rather get a good 600/650W one.
>inb4 600W is too much too, idiot
I know that the build isn’t going to use more than ~250W, but that’s perfect for 600W power supply, as it should stay in the maximal efficiency range during gaming. Also, there aren’t that many good PSU’s with lesser wattage.
Gimme the best build for under 2k USD and I want it to last for 4-5 years. I don't plan to do 4k resolution.
>gtx 1060 3gb
>3gb
my piece of shit 3.5memecard is better than this.
yeah i realized that, thanks for pointing it out. never had any problems with psu b4 ever on my stone pc so thought any would do but turned out it's different for new pcs
guys, is a 1440p 144hz monitor backward compatible with 1080p 144hz?
and why is that cunt?
