How's your game coming along, Sup Forums?

How's your game coming along, Sup Forums?

If you're gonna include all those "literally who" engines then you may as well include RPG Maker in there

>Godot

No games

it's coming along, just working on stage 2

also using GM btw

Include phyreengine

how2learn C# and C++ real quick

skip both and learn C. It's dead simple and very powerful.

Sup Forums pls

I'm working on visuals.

what am i looking at

It's a puzzle game, you have to push the boxes around and the blue blocks let you move through walls.

Still don't understand what's going on but it looks good.

That's kinda on purpose, it's supposed to feel like an obscure specialized computer thing that only makes sense once you actually play it.

What are you going to do.about music?

Reminder RPGmaker is not a game engine

Haven't even learned programing and still learning how to bring down my poly counts and UV unwrap better. This thing has a little over 1,500,000 tris.

bruh just go get hired at a studio

>core gameplay is mediocre
>just keep adding more shit

not the best, i keep losing faith that anyone will actually like it or play it

make your scope smaller. people love playing small games. games like 2048 is the first to come to mind. both other games like Princess Remedy on steam. isnt even 40 minutes worth of gameplay and is well received despite looking rather bland and simple and have equally simple mechanics

Progress super slow but always good to add something new when I get the chance.
Most recent addition was sliding down slopes and slope physics.

how do you do running animation. please ive yet to make any animation or sprite im happy with

There's all kind of ways to make a running animation that has character, but there is one basic principle to them all when it comes to the key frames.
If these tutorials don't help, you can also try doing the motion yourself to get a "feeling" for it.

for the most part just "good" remixes of current songs. ive made everything from scratch except the artwork from papa zun. hard as fuck too but im proud of my first stage and boss

thx senpai

How does one design futuristic tech? Like end of the universe tech? I can't get my head there. Im assuming once you're that far along, everything is as efficient as possible but what does an endgame space craft look like?

Still at it. I finished the layout for the surface floor now.

That guy really doesn't give a shit about those monsters

I was thinking of adding some 'out of breath' face animations later for when the shit goes down.

>it's supposed to be bad

good, its a must have. Juice up that game man. make it feel your character its actually there.

Game where you raise a monster and it evolves depending on how you decide its stat growth, shit idea or not?

How do you decide what project to work on

I'm sure some of you or even most of you have a huge list of ideas for games; how did you decide where to start?

...

The smallest ideas first

I'm new to all this i just bough RPG maker can i make it big guys?

tamagotchis already came and went user

yeah, I'll get on that once I've finished the scenario.

Gotcha

I'll try to predict the scope for each idea and see what happens

kind of a random question but on game maker is it bad to declare a variable on a step event?

>TICKED DAILY PROGRESS CHECKBOX
>DIDN'T ACTUALLY MAKE ANY

Nice, is this an undertale fan game?
