SENSITIVITY QUESTIONS

Hi, I'm new to PC gaming and I am very bad at aiming with the mouse. I had someone I complained about this to ask me if I had ``high sens or low'' and I did not know how to answer. I just recorded a video of me playing a tiny side mission in a video game, can you tell me if my sensitivity is high or low by looking?

Thanks,
Player looking for aiming advice! (please, no bullying because I already know I'm bad)

This is the video

what do the colors mean though?

It means that blue states are better than green states

It was a bait picture to get people interested in reading my thread, afaik the colors do not mean anything.

I have some more for you guys if you like

Post at least 5 more maps and I will personally explain mouse sensitivity to you.

No one actually cares, dumb tripfag.

tfw only 5 total

...

Do b2r five times in a row and I'll tell you OP.

You're not that bad. Also it's impossible to tell without seeing how far you are moving your hand to produce the movement on screen.

Now stop tripfagging and fuck off.

see how I rolled a 5 and ask for 5? you owe me two more maps.

quake 3 or quake champions?

very little, just use my wrist to move the aiming reticule

>``high sens or low'' and I did not know how to answer
Are you literally retarded?

mouse sensitivity is measured in DPI or some shit and if you download drivers for whatever fucking gaymen mouse you have you can adjust it. Higher DPI= more sensitive. I use about 3k. It's really up to you what's comfortable, though I think FPS fags prefer low sensitivity.

yeah I'm pretty freakin dumb dude
1000 is pretty normal? Would I tell the guy that asked I use normal sensitivity?

A lot of things go into aiming, that includes your hand size, mouse choice, and of course experience.

Aimbooster.com or Aim maps in cs:go are something you can use to get familiar with using a mouse. Sensitivity is a feel thing, go into any game and start with a low sensitivity and just raise it with how you feel. Is it too slow for you? then raise it, if it's too fast lower it.

You have to consider in-game sensitivity as well
High sensitivity only makes sense for controller aiming, use lower sensitivity on kb+m, additionally have enough space to move your hand in

1000 is on the low side.

>the absolute state of the videos on that youtube channel

...

what mouse do you have

>knows how to record video and post it on YT
>doesn't know how to set or google mouse sensitivity

"Proteus Core"

quake players will tell you to lower sensetivity so you need to move your whole hand to turn around, and i'd agree. it also makes precision aiming less difficult for any fps, but on the flipside, it might be difficult to get used to low sens.

Its high enough just like i play with.
You have enough sensitivity to navigate around and to make quick turns incase something goes to shit and if you need some aim at your shots
Decrease your sensitivity if you cant hit stuff at longer range
You shouldn't increase it any further since it will make you lose control

Your aiming's on point, so I don't see how someone could notice it to complain.

It takes you kinda long to actually move the crosshair onto your target though, so if you just want an answer to your question, the sensitivity is either too low or you just aren't moving your wrist enough.

Hey, I've got the same software, yeah dpi seems low. I use 3300, and only switch down to 1200 if I need to be extra precise (usually when doing something like trying to place things pixel-perfect).

How the fuck are we supposed to well without seeing your hand movements?
