I spent an hour chasing hallucinations in the desert because this piece of shit runs horridly in the cities. Pretty varied stuff and plenty of spooky shit.
I spent an hour chasing hallucinations in the desert because this piece of shit runs horridly in the cities...
good, I'll give it a try then when cracked version is out
I'll also give the cracked version a try once it's out. Fuck this DRM on DRM on DRM on DRM. Unrelated, I saw people turning into sand, a dude with a scepter that turns into a snake that turns into sand, a flaming tree, an aftermath of a battle and spooky child that drew pic related.
Get a better PC. I haven't had any problems on my 1080 with an i7 and 32gb of ram.
I'll get right on that dad.
>Game is optimized like cancer
>Need a 1080 to run it at 60 fps
>"hurr just upgrade goyim"
It doesn't take much of a GPU to run it well. CPU requirements, on the other hand, fucking cancerous.
Doesn't the added anti-tamper protection layer on top of denuvo cause the CPU to reach max load and thus stutter like shit in this game?
Runs flawlessly for me. Sorry about your toaster.
Stuttering isn't a problem anymore since today's patch but you still get massive FPS drops in cities and other places with a lot of NPCs (not so bad of a drop, lowest I've gotten is 40fps). Countryside runs at 60fps without any issues, doesn't matter whether it's the desert or the heavily forested areas. But yeah, I'm convinced it's the DRM that's causing the CPU load to max out. I haven't seen anything in this game that would require high CPU usage at all.
Guess I'll just wait for the crack then.
Khemu's hallucinations are pretty neat. Found him amongst some flowers and even after the vision faded I could still hear him walking around.
Also had Bayek find his own dead body.
>Also had Bayek find his own dead body.
Shiet, haven't seen that one yet. I thought the hallucinations would repeat themselves pretty often but I guess not. The only ones that repeat frequently are the ones that lead you on like people pointing directions or the flying scarf. The sound effects really spook me the fuck up though. Neat shit.
I just got to Alexandria so I’m pretty early on but these hallucinations sound cool as fuck. Is there a trick to triggering them? Or do I just wander out into the desert and run around ‘til something happens?
Just wander the desert. They don't take long to appear and you get both a visual and audio cue when they do.
...
May or may not be unrelated OP, but didn't the FB game say that a god was dicking around in the desert? Could be that.
I'm pirating this once a crack is out, AND when I fix my piece of shit PC.
Where are they going user?
>didn't the FB game say that a god was dicking around in the desert? Could be that.
That's later this month, I think. You can do some trials to earn the chance to fight Anubis in the desert.
Only repeating ones I've found are the scarf, people pointing and the single flower in the desert.
I also had one where it was just a disemobodied voice speaking in some language. Dunno if it was egyptian or something else but it was a real deep bass.
If you're at all into exploring you'll find them pretty quick just from wandering around the deserts. They'll stop happening if you come close to a camp, or town though. heading through to Giza is probably the first time you'll see one, as Alexandria and the other areas around the lake aren't hot enough.
I've yet to have shit like that happen.
My bugs have been ones that could sort of make sense.
That's one mad as fuck hippo.
Taweret will fuck you up, my man.
>tfw when this is actually a good game
>tfw I dont want to give money to Ubi
>tfw i dont want to play under 3 layers of DRM
FUCK
row beneath the black flag matey
>Game is badly optimised
>BUT IT WORKS FOR ME!
Morons like you never help anyone
Anyone get Beatles raining from the sky yet? Got an achievement for it happening
Anyone wanna donate an old GPU? I'm running a 7870/3770 wombo combo
