What's the appeal?
What's the appeal?
same as in skyrim
Why does it need to appeal to you?
It's the new Zelda game from Nintendo.
...
like minecraft 0.5 except without blocky graphics, instead just regular old shit graphics
Exploration
The systems
Zelda for people who never actually liked Zelda. Meaning a lot of people.
The sense of freedom and discovery
...
It's good.
I have no idea.
Exploring a big highly interactive world.
very few cutscenes
It's cringe-worthy how BotW fans always post these dumb webms as if we are supposed to be blown away by them.
I didn't hate it but I didn't really like it either. It was fun for about 10 hours. There's just too much pointless wandering about. The story is shit and so are the dungeons and enemy variety. But I actually finished this Zelda game instead of getting bored and watching the rest on youtube like I did with Skyward sword so I dunno what to think.
Wanderlust. If you don't feel much of that then playing it is pointless.
I don't know.
I finished it today and still don't get it.
Filled out the map, did about 70 shrines. Just couldn't deal with it anymore.
Feels like you're actively punished for playing the game and exploring with the durability system.
So it turns into just running between shrines avoiding everything.
An Ubisoft open world game without the narrative or unique sets of activities (only really shrines and koroks here).
BotW is the first 3D Zelda I've been unable to bring myself to finish. I beat Skyward Sword twice because of Hero Mode.
Most BotW fans are Nintendildos, who have stayed in their Nintendo safe space bubble their whole lives.
I do feel wanderlust, just not with his game and its boring world with shrines.
it definitely has problems that's for sure
