>it's okay for Japan to cut content
It's okay for Japan to cut content
it looks like they just changed location
>you will never play Persona 5 for the first time ever again
The game is literally 100+ hours long. Persona 5 is not lacking in content by any stretch of the imagination.
>The game is literally 100+ hours long
I beat it with a playtime of 65 hours, where does this 100 hour meme come from?
I just finished it today and I'm at the 90 hour mark
Looks like they just changed the meeting location from this to that one hallway with the windows in the final game.
>You will play Persona 6 for the first time
That is literally impossible unless you skipped all the dialogue or skipped through days doing nothing. Whatever you did, you didn't play the game normally.
Congrats, you are slightly faster than average.
Mate I like P5 a lot but it isn't exactly 100 hours of unique content is it?
Persona 5's pacing is so awful it killed any enjoyment the game offered, if anything it needed to be shorter
>Persona 6 won't be directed by Hashino
I finish it at 85 hours
When you want to min max as much as you can at your first playthrough you can get +80 hours easely
really? it took me 110 and I only got mildly autistic with fusion
Why not? I'd absolutely say it is.
people who have more than 100 hours like me?
wtf, min maxing would be like 110+ hours, not 80+. You beat it WAY faster than average.
We get ReFantasy instead which will be better than trying to one up the already perfect P5.
>thread about cut content
>post defending the length and amount of content
>posts an image of the character with the absolute most cut content
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this.
Fuck off, if the game was 100 hours longer I'd gladly play it.
>there are people that looked up exp and money exploits and guides on a first playthrough
>>Persona 6 won't be directed by Hashino
Thank god. Hashino doesn't know how to write.
You can faster than they talk. In fact the delivery for both Japan and English is trash
>he skipped all the SOL stuff and only did the main story
Not him, but Mementos are absolutely filler to pad out the hour count.
What's the problem? Cut content isn't inherently bad, it's only bad when the finished product isn't satisfactory.
Isn't that a good thing? Work on social links early, instead of raising stats, then shotgun stats 1/3rd through the game, when jobs can skyrocket stats fast.
How the fuck are you expected to complete the compendium without money and exp exploits?
By doing it on a second playthrough and just casually enjoying the game on your first.
Ok, that's true I guess, but it's a relatively minor part of the game. You're only going to mementos like once or twice a month or so. The VAST majority of P5's content is still unique and worthwhile.
The entire game is just doing the same shit over and over. It's not "we have over 100 of hours worth of content" it's "we have maybe 5-10 hours worth and you'll repeat it for 100 hours"
Lets face it user, we're never doing anything that much different from kamoshida's palace the entire game and his is arguably the best one.
The game just hands out money you don't even need to try and look for an exploit. Anyone who played a Megaten game before will be rolling in cash by the second dungeon.
I grinded to level 99 using The Reaper and flu days, using Hifumi's passive that makes escape attempts have no cooldown period. I finished with 125 hours.
I still didn't beat it. I'm stopped after the trip to hawaii. Didn't stop for any particular reason. Just got busy with something else and now I don't have the courage to pick it back up. It's hard going back to a jrpg after taking a long break from it.
I know you can stun Mementos bosses into giving you loads of money and looping them until you're satisfied, but what would be considered an exp exploit? Catching the Reaper during Flu Season?
>Hawaii
What a disappointment. A tiny box you can barely explore and 90% of the conversations were about Phantom Thieves stuff. I guess the date is supposed to make up for it but it is still such a shame.
Yeah. It's pretty easy to grind everyone including your Personas up to 99 using that, and it's useful to allow you to fuse high level Personas without having to pay the toll.
Man I was hype for friend shit in hawaii but then it turned out to be a glorified cutscene.
>The entire game is just doing the same shit over and over.
I mean yeah? If you boil it down to the bare minimum that's usually what happens in all games.
>Put down jrpg
>Don't fucking remember what I was doing
>No clue where to go to advance the story
>Characters are all holding shit weapons and are in a random area of the map
Is there a more confusing experience than coming back to a jrpg after dropping it for a week or two? Shit feels like waking up from being blackout drunk.

Nah there's an EXP exploit that you can't really take full advantage of until New Game Plus as it requires setting up a strong demon but when it's done you can steam roll Death right at the start and get to level 99 before the game barely begins.
What was the highest damage you guys hit in game? I hit 8250 with Ryuji on that "janitor" boss and iirc still could have reduced his defense for more damage when it happened.
My entire game was chip damage and dodge so probably like 700 or something.
>can't really take full advantage of until New Game Plus
What's this?
I just finished the casino, I'll send the calling card in 12 days, when the fuck do I get my OP arsene back
Same but I stopped at the start of Haru's dad's dungeon, I absolutely want to go back but I'd be so lost. Shit like Raidou has full summaries of every chapter, I don't know why doesn't Atlus do this on every game.
New Game Plus is a popular mechanic in video games that allows players to run through the game again with any number of previously gained stats, items, or similar things. In P5's case you get to keep certain gifts and your Personas.
I felt that way with P4G. I tried playing it through on NG+ and couldn't get back into it
>implying Crimson is actually happening
>The story has been updated until this point
I finished it at 100 but grinded in the subway for a bit longer than I needed to - probably would've finished at around 90-95 hours
Honestly I don't unless they port P4:G to other systems. If they do that then they WILL do Crimson.
>maxing compendium on your first run
I bet you only kinda enjoyed it, huh?
>anything that changes over the course of development = cut content
>every idea is a good one that must be included in the final game
Does it hurt being that mentally challenged?
I used my days well, maxed out more S. Links than not. To be fair I was playing on normal and I was very comfortable with P3 and P4 so I was able to go through the dungeons and persona fusing shit very quickly.
He might be talking about the reaper farm when it's flu season. I don't know about any other exploits in the game
There's no cut content surrounding Hifumi, that's just delusional waifufags that wish she was in the party saying that. The design was considered for a character in the party, not the actual character.
NO MAN THERE WAS AN UNTEXTURED IWATODAI DORM IN THE FILES WE WERE GONNA GO SAVE DOOR KUN
same here but still managed to get 130hours altho id say anywhere between 20-40 of them were just leaving the ps4 on while playing WoW
No memes
Any hopes of an Xbox port? I was considering starting a petition maybe
>That is literally impossible unless you skipped all the dialogue or skipped through days doing nothing.
So the gameplay is about 60 hours then.
60 hours of gameplay is more than 99% of games that get released today. What point are you trying to make here?
the stuff with her didnt even leave the concept stage
Nah, you'll have to make do with NINE.
>60 hours of gameplay is more than 99% of games that get released today.
Eh, not really.
>How to tell that user has never created anything in their life.
There's definitely some shit missing from the dungeons. The art museum still has vents for an alternate path that no longer exists. I think at one point there was a GTAV style heist customization or paths that let you choose between puzzling exploration and faster-but-tougher boss fight shortcuts, and the alarm system was more prominent to the point that Ohya's skill might have been useful.
Good argument.
What does the alarm even do anyway? Does it eventually throw you out? I hope nobody here got thrown out.
60 hours is the minimum for games nowadays and that they're often bolstered by multiplayer.
But I don't have to explain it to you considering you already think it's a good argument.
I tried getting thrown out on purpose but then it took to long and I got bored with it.
Getting to the point of being thrown out requires borderline crippling retardation. So yea, there are few people on Sup Forums who probably got thrown out
Really, Wolfenstein, Mario Odyssey, and AC origins for example, since we're talking current, are 60 hours of gameplay?

Looks like the only one that even comes close is AC and that's for 100%.
Crimson when?
I'm pretty sure it kicks you out of the dungeon for the day, but it literally never comes into effect even when the game forces it to 99%. I think it's original purpose was to slowly accumulate as you made progress and make enemies tougher, so you'd have to leave and let it fall back down over time instead of blasting through the whole dungeon on the first day.
That would make Ohya's skill mildly useful on your first run through the game instead of actively hindering your cash making like it does right now.
Dumbass, those 60 hour games youre talking about are the shitty ubisoft open world ones filled with "content", aka copy pasted generic quests.
I'm at 60 hours now. I hope I can finish it in less than another 40. This game is fucking garbage.
>ywn romance sae and receive her chocolate?
If you don't like it, why are you even playing it...
>how long to beat
Yeah and userscores on metacritic are good representations of quality.
Also those games have multiplayer and additional content.
I want to finish it at least so I can see if my judgement is justified.
And I guess I'm curious about how the story ends, even though I'm pretty sure I could predict it now.
>You will never fuck sae raw over the interrogation table as part of your escape plan
Why are you forcing yourself through it? I didn't think it was amazing either but I at least had a decent time with it.
If you're willing to play it for 100 hours, you can't truly call it garbage. What's your prediction for the ending, I'm curious
You still have yet to provide an argument.
>cat making sure you dont leave your room half the game
>not beaing able to do ding dong diddly dick for stretches of the game where story is getting dumped on your head
theyre holding out for the enhanced port. still a good game though.
I'm at 102 hours and in the fourth Palace.
I've just been grinding levels. Inefficiently, I know, but the music that plays on Heist days is so catchy.
That just looks like the walkway hideout.
None of those games have multiplayer though?
What does that have anything to do with the game not having enough content? Those things don't make the game have less content...
Name one with no cut content.
>actively hindering your cash making
How?
Well you know, aside from this To which you then "argued" with HLTB which is completely user generated and disregarded any and all other content within the games.
In other words, that's not an argument.
Akechi is the black mask.
He's going to find out who the Phantom Thieves are.
He's also responsible for the mental breakdowns (unsure about his reasoning though, I'm guessing it's because he has a twisted sense of justice).
We fight him, win and convince him that he was wrong.
He helps change the real evil dudes' hearts.
ZEE ENDO DA
I don't know what Sae is even worth for though. So far she's only an insanely obnoxious storytelling device.
It was one of the greatest experiences I have had in almost a decade.
Persona 5 and splatoon are my goty for 2016
It comes from. It rushing thru the fucking game and actually do the side quest and playing in hard mode
>players who have played the game submitting their own playtimes is somehow not trustworthy
Yes, I'm sure there's a dedicated group of people bombing these games with shorter lengths than actual their actual playtime. You've cracked the code.
Who do you think the traitor is, user?
Close. Akechi is the traitor, is convinced but dies. Also he's the son of the main antagonist
