Snake, Zadornov has disappeared from his cell

Snake, Zadornov has disappeared from his cell.

If I'm going to be shooting him in 3 more missions why can't I just shoot him now?

Why didn't they just torture and then kill him

Shadow Moses > Big Shell > Tanker > Tselinoyarsk > Middle East > South America > Costa Rica > Afghanistan > Angola-Zaire > Eastern Europe

Glad I dropped this game.

Trying to get the true ending in PW was such a slog.

Peace Walker was the best.

Fucking shit game. Kaz, Cecile, Chico, Paz are great characters, and characterization for Big Boss was on point, the game did some things right in terms of writing, introducing new characters and focusing on their relationship with Big Boss as this leader figure.

But the story was fucking stupid, the villain was terrible, strangelove was awful, the bosses were shit. The fucking tapes were torture, except the fun ones, listening to Strangelove talk about The Boss for 90 minutes made me actually retroactively hate that character, never liked her but after PW I actually dislike her.

Peace walker is the best metal gear game

>PW was such a slog

I agree.

E-Europe as in MGS4? That was such a cool idea but the execution blew chunks. Had it been an actual open area that you could have explored Hitman style, in disguise but avoiding suspicion, it could have been fantastic.

>big shell that high
it's easily the worst

The Boss is great when she's on the screen, but she's a godawful Mary Sue as soon as other people talk about her.

That's The Boss for you.

I think the general outline of PW's story is ace; sneaking into a country to stop NUKES and stumbling into Cold War spy dickery. I can't deny though that Top Kekman was a lame villain because of how... bureocratic and normal he was, and I can understand why some people might have been turned off by the AI Boss twist, but I think it gave a nice, concrete way for Snake to confront and process his trauma over The Boss.

t. Big Brainlet

Big Shell is a fantastic setting, easily the most aesthetically pleasing in the series, brilliant use of contrasting colors, it looks so fucking clean and good, so sharp.

Peace walker
>Cringy comic style
>Absurdity of having to listen to the tapes only in the menu
>Ridiculous small maps(if you can't do it, don't release on fucking psp)
>Fucking Zadornof missions
>PRESS X TO RELEASE
>No facial animations at all
>Plot is narrated like a parody of metal gear(probably due to comic style)
Worst MGS
But it's a prequel to V, the best MGS so it's fine

Tanker was my first

>tfw never got to play as Zadornov
>years later TPP finally gives us Rocket Peace
>Zadoorknob is long dead
It's not fair.

Yeah, all those orange bridges and blue corridors were really memorable.

Great:
MG1, MG2, MGS1, MGS2, MGS3

Ok:
MGS4, Portable Ops

Shit:
Peace Walker, MGSV

It really grows on you.

You forgot
>lol there's no sneaking at all

GOD:
MGS2, MGS1

Great:
MGS3

Good:
MGS4, Ground Zeroes

Shit:
Peace Walker, The Phantom Pain

I can accept your ratings. But why no ratings for the MSX games :(

I haven't beaten them. MG1 would probably go in OK, and MG2 might reach Great.

Put V and Ground Zeroes up a tier and this

>yfw get your turn at that prime Raikov boipucci

would you?

perhaps play the games more than once
i stilll remember just about every strut and the rooms in it

"Alright Miller, but this time get him in a more secure cell. I mean how many times can he escape a MSF guarded cell"

Would?

...I?!?!?

I played them multiple times for unlockables back then. MGS2's level design is the most repetitive and bland of the entire series.
Even the msx games have more memorable level design.

Don't mind me. Real best game in the series coming through.

]This. MG1, MG2, MGSV and somewhat MGS4 were the only games designed to take place on an actual battlefield in the middle of nowhere, Eastern Hemisphere.

PW nails it close but it's fresh jungle atmosphere that's in most areas throw the feel off.

MGS1 takes place in a tiny corridor, MGS2 takes place in a simulation, and MGS3 takes place in a damn forest. And most of the time in those games, you aren't in a battle, you're just knocking out soldiers and doing boss fights. That's all what the first three MGS games are. Knocking out soldiers, espionage and doing boss fights. There was no feel of battle at all when I played them.

>half japanese
>without slanted eyes or dark hair
That isn't how mixing caucasians with japs work

ya know I just realized that Big Shell or whatever is an oil rig similar to outer heaven/haven were the patriots training raiden to kill solidus or possibly big boss if he ever surfaced again

You know what I just realized? Big Boss has no fucking eyebrows.

Why the hell did I not notice this earlier, and who thought this was a good idea?

Spoiler alert he never had them in any of the games. Neither does Solid Snake.

Yes, but I've never bothered to pay attention until now.
