They killed Ardyn forever and defeated Ifrit the scourge is gone. Daylight returns and monster levels go back to normal or lower. All the kingdoms are gone as well. The bloodline is no longer needed.

Noctis had been in contact with Luna since he was 12, just because he hadn't physically been with her doesn't diminish that they had a conneciton, and she died right when they were finally within reach of each other. He has every right to be broken up over it, and it happening just weeks after his dad died too is why he's so fucked up at that point.

But Gladio is also right in that they have to keep going to fulfill his duty, and that Luna didn't die just so Noctis could slump around not doing it. They were both in the right

The entire fight could have been avoided if Ignis was still at the top of his game. As Ignis likely could have solved this with more tact and brought the group together.
