I stopped playing because the release of Javelin gutted the quickplay system for some reason. I don't want to play fucking stopwatch you mongs. Let me just fucking shoot at people without having to sit in a match for 30 minutes. Jesus.

Starting out you are at a blatant gear advantage on top of other players knowing the maps and mercs.

Man I wish I could still enjoy DB. I have ~600 hours in it and played off and on for a few years, but I unironically enjoyed Execution and I fucking detest the direction they're taking the game with Javelin and now Guardian.

It's gone from good fast paced gunplay, with ability to enhance the gameplay, to a system of abilities hard countering each other.

I stopped about 1.5 years ago. I couldn't stand never finding a comp match and the balance was never good. Not to mention it was impossible to play with my brother since there was not casual squad system so you can group up with friends and stick together.

Looks more realistic than the new Rainbow 6 operators

I know it was just a stunt to encourage people to buy lootboxes, but I loved all the stuff that went down with Proxy's eye. So often do multiplayer games that have a cast of interesting characters just kinda stay in this forever dormant state and no story ever gets progressed upon.

My only major issue with Javelin is that she instagibs. They made it a point to get rid of all instagibs two years ago, so why in the hell would they bring it back?
I kinda get what they were going for since the other FOPs can guarantee kills with their abilities, but they require multiple hits, not one. You can still survive a Kira laser if you get grazed by it or a molotov if your body ends up outside of it, but the splash on the rocket is so silly that I don't think lower HP characters can even survive at the edge of it. I think a good adjustment for her would be raising the charge time to 2.5 or 3s, making it so only direct hits can instagib, and increasing splash self-damage.

Guardian is bad all around, just delete her and give Phoenix a Timik instead.

They added casual matchmaking recently, if you and your brother want to get back into it.
