But you'd still need to go through all the character creation, that wouldn't save you any time.

i usually go with freeside and westside because they have the most interesting communities. the strip is obviously not in need of electricity. and if the new california republic can't find a way to power their own headquarters then maybe they shouldn't be gunning for the territory.

While not quite the same, there's Character Creation Streamlined, which puts you in the game much, much faster
Alternatively, go through the intro normally then make a hard save just outside goodsprings, where you get the prompt to make character changes.

if you actually read the answers instead of choosing the same thing every time you might be surprised at how accurate the results are to what you're going for. i often only have to change one skill, occasionally none.

Archimedes, if it wasn't so terrible.

The intro actually isn't that bad. It doesn't take that long to go through everything. Just answer a few questions, assign special, and you're pretty much good to go.

I can understand Fallout 3's intro, it takes FOREVER to finally leave that fucking vault, and I can also understand Oblivion, it has you crawling through an annoying dungeon and shit.
