I'm kinda regretting not playing this myself and watching playthroughs of it instead. This game is gracefully displays the wonders of childhood and the dread of adulthood, how society lives in a dead-end town and what friendship looks like and feels like. It's truly a colorful adventure that hits home. The Bea route hit home for me and I love seeing Mae and Bea patch up their relationship. Thoughts?

**This game gracefully** typo on the "is" there.
Also, I don't think I missed out much by not playing it. It's just most the great story and basic platforming.
Smash capitalism!
Fuck the police!
Ugh!
So what do you think of The Matrix?

I love the Wachowski brothers
Thought it was alright. Not much for gameplay, but the general atmosphere and art style was nice. Though I think the story ends just at it really starts to go somewhere interesting.
And though I ended up liking Bea, it was harder for me to sympathize with Mae after some of the more ass-holish stunts that she pulls.
You mean the Wachowski sisters?
This isn't a game but because it's porn isn't total shit I let it pass
>sisters
I actually liked Mae a lot. She was an asshole at times, but also a generally nice person. She's flawed and you want to see her get her shit together. Shame the game ends without a little bit more development for her. Instead the magic plot starts up and suddenly Mae's problems are magical and she just defeats the guy who has been stalking her for no discernible reason.
Adolescent whining disguised as art.

I really liked this game and I'm hoping the big update in December tunes the ending to be less shit. LitW is also something to look forward to at some point.
It's a shame that most people try to hate the game as opposed to enjoy it so we get "Ugh" posters and "Taco" posters instead, you guys are only ruining it for yourselves.
In the end it's a nice little game I'm happy I found.
I enjoyed it
I will admit, it was an average game, but that wont stop me from liking it
I'm looking forward to the update
If you didn't hang out with bea, actually go fuck yourself
Fuck Sup Forums
I love me some NitW.
Update? LitW? This is my first time discussing the game since I made this doll in april.
I still haven't made the boots, maybe the update will motivate me to finish it already.
there's a free update coming out in a month that's gonna add some stuff
also
>making a doll
I would shame this, but the fact of it is that you put creative effort into something irl, that's a lot considering where we are
>make anti-capitalist game
>charge $20 for it
>anti-capitalist
I went into this game with the mindset that it would be like that, it ended up not being quite like that
I can understand why people would see it that way, but I can also understand why the characters think the way they do
the little of it that there it is, it doesnt really impede the story telling
You're a fucking canadian pleb
>playing a game made by an antifa member after one of them commits mass murder
put a gun in your mouth
nope
try again
So pretty in the dark about what it adds?
All I want is better closure for Mae and a hang out session with Angus and Germ. I know Germ had a partially finished hang out session, though would've found everything the grandma says ridiculously jarring and spoilery if I played through the game and had that conversation with her, so hopefully some rewrites there.
