Let's have an optimistic thread.
What games are you looking forward to, Sup Forums?
For me, it's gotta be
>Dragonball FighterZ
>Monster Hunter World
>WoW Classic
>Cyberpunk 2077
Let's have an optimistic thread
>tfw no pig
X4, I guess. I rediscovered I bought X3 years ago on Steam and gave it a shot recently. Really enjoyed it. I discovered a new one was coming out soon so I decided to stop playing so I wouldn't be burned out on the setting right before a new game came out. I don't really keep up with what's in production much, I've still got an enormous backlog of games to get through.
>monster hunter world
dude I'm so happy it's actually coming out to be something pretty damn decent, to the point the only people talking shit about the game are those mentally impaired nintenbros
Jeez, I could've said Mario for the last 10 months or so, but let's see...
>Monster Hunter World
>Spiderman PS4
>S H E N M U E 3
>Metroid Prime 4
>Whatever the next Smash game is
>Those Kirby and Yoshi games on Switch looked pretty good I gotta say
Idk Anons, a lot of the games I was really looking forward to for ages have already come out. What do I do now?
>Kirby Star Allies
>Metroid Prime 4
>Pikmin 4
>Whatever Retro Studio's game is, I'm looking forward to knowing what it is
That's all that comes to mind right now.
wtf i want a piggy now
You should get one, they're smarter, faster, stronger, and even cleaner than a dog. Be carefull at what you get tho, they can go from 50 kgs minimum to 200+. The bigger ones are more chill tho
Bannerlord
That is all
As a farmer I fucking hate pigs
I don't trust cannibals
>Octopath Travelers
>Dragonball FighterZ
>FE Switch
>Kirby Star Allies
>Prime 4
In that order.
That's because you keep them as farm animals. If you kept your dogs (who can be cannibals as well) that way you'd hate them too for their behaviour. I actually have a tuscanian boar(which is far tinier than a normal boar), that little pest is incredibly adorable, and I much prefer him to my dogs, because his affection is not like the one of a dog, which is brainless and pushed by centuries of bastardization, but by actual intellect and pure gratitude for saving him. Even thought he has super strong jaws he never once bit me and every time I call him he runs to me as fast as he can, just like other boars I saved and freed in natural reserves when they were old enough. Try and keep one as a pet instead of cattle, animals usually do not love the ones that don't love them back
Yeah, hence as a farmer, I'm no chink so won't be farming dogs any time soon, but I'd like to see a pig heard sheep
Wew, herd*
Also I don't farm pigs, just cows and sheep
Pigs have a tendency to fucking destroy land, even more than my ravenous stampeding bastard cows
None at all.
All the games I'm looking forward to have already come out (nier:A and pc nioh)
Will Monster Hunter World be online-only? Do I need an always-on internet connection to play?
You can teach pigs far more complex things than that, but yeah they are pretty distructive with land.
Cyberpunk 2077
Cautiously optimistic about RDR2
Death Stranding is probably gonna be alright
That Vanillaware mecha game
Persona dance games
Nope
Why do they market it as a game where you play as 4 warriors killing a giant beast then?
because if you're a fucking shitter you can't do it on your own
>Dragonball FighterZ
>Monster Hunter
>Hacker Memory
>Kingdom Hearts 3
2018 is going to be packed at the beginning of the year
Because it's mostly built as a co-op experience, but you can very well play it as a single player game. It has been like that since the start, I've played MH:FU in singleplayer for example.
so its like dark souls?
just like
Metro Exodus
Kingdom Come
DUSK
Ion Maiden
Ion Maiden's demo is supposed to come out this year.
I'd like to see a pig outsmart a bird.
Vermintide 2
they don't need to, they're best pals
I heard somewhere that pigs are about as smart as dogs.
Not much right now. I don't hate video games, it's just that everything I was looking forward to came out this year, and next year is pretty barren so far, with what few future titles I'm looking forward to having almost no info.
>FE Switch
>Metroid Prime 4
>Ghost of Tsushima
>Cyberpunk 2077
>FFVIIR
>RE2R
>BG&E2
>From's next game
>Retro's next game
We know jackshit about any of these and they're all the games I want. Also hoping for a Persona 5 director's cut, seems inevitable but it's a question of sooner or later.
You heard wrong
Yeah, MonHun
Bannerlord
Only Bannerlord
Agreed.
>DBFZ
>Monster Hunter World
>Red Dead 2
>Death stranding
>Yakuza 6
>Yakuza Kiwami 2
Next January is gonna be hype
Code Vein is the only thing I’m aware of and care about, though I guess Cyberpunk is in the corner of my eye
>tfw bought Yakuza 0 but can't start playing because I have to finish my backlog first
Bannerlord and Cyberpunk 2077. Red dead redemption 2 to a lesser degree.
T-They will come out, right Sup Forums?
>Borderlands 3
Even though Gearbox are known for dumb decisions and could fuck it up in a variety of ways, the simple fact that Burch is no longer in charge of anything is soothing in itself.
FighterZ, Dominions 5, XIV 4.2, WoW Classic. Depending on WoW's release date I might unsub from XIV for a while.
Mah nigga.
It looks like X4 is a straight up improvement of the previous games, what Stillbirth should have been. Fuck, just them making a proper mousedriven UI is a gigantic leap.
>find out a few days ago that Dom5 is going to be released in early november
>we're now going into middle november
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS.
From Gearbox's history it looks like it doesn't need Burch to make mistakes
LA-MULANA 2 FUCKING WHEN
>optimistic thread
True, but they seem to be more careful with BL than with many other projects (even though that's not saying much).
well if you want an optimistic take on borderlands 3 if they should let us play as all former vault hunters as well as the new ones just for the sake of having more characters to pick from, maybe up the player counts to 8
Bunch of stuff but I'm pretty stoked for the SOTC remake.
It's coming out pretty soon and I'm due for another playthrough. The new lighting and graphics looks nice.
Sounds pretty nice.
Even though they probably won't do any of this.
DBFZ, Dissidia NT (played the beta and adored it), Ni no Kuni II (loved the E3 demo), Yakuza 6, and KHIII are the big ones right now. I'm also cautiously enthusiastic for the FFVII remake. I just hope the episodic thing doesn't completely fuck it up.
Metro Exodus, I hope that game will be the best of it's franchise.
Vampyr looks pretty decent too, I like the return to an older Gothic setting.
Bump.
