I'm not OP, and in fact I'm a Nintendo fan to an unreasonable degree, but I think it's reasonable to expect a small discount on bundles. Isn't that the point of bundling things together?

Maybe a physical copy wasn't needed if it were MS or Sony but Nintendo isn't pretty good at this if you ever owned a 3DS, Wii or Wii U, you would know about how shitty their account system works.

The games are tied to the system and not account, If you ever have multiple systems or sell one to get a new one you gotta transfer your shit instead of logging in with your account and downloading everything.

If you lose or get your shit stolen you gotta get on the phone and provide proof to Nintendo you actually bought your shit.
Not worth it, plus Nintendo never puts real sales on their store, you're bound to find physical games either same price or cheaper.

I've been buying games for decades. My collection is worth as much today as I paid for it. I have many games that are worth more than what I paid for them. It's not an alternative to a proper investment portfolio or anything, but it feels good to know that I've spent basically nothing on my hobby because physical games hold value.

That said, unless it's a bundle of multiple games, Just give the customer the damn case. It makes the package feel more value added than a "Please enter this 12-length code and then wait 20 hours on your shit internet to download this" voucher.
