Not everyone grew up with Mario Kart DS. Back when I was a kid we played Mario Kart 64, and that game didn't have Dry Bones.

If you liked Super Circuit, I recommend playing Super Mario Kart. The design philosophy is essentially the same. It's a lot harder though.

The issue isn't that he's showing off his ass, it's that they shortened the length of his body in all recent designs. It's why it looks so fucking weird whenever Mario rides him in newer games; in order to compensate for his shorter body, they essentially made it into a crescent moon shape to try and make it look less awful when someone's on his back.

Yoshi's actually the best racer in 64, along with Toad and Peach. Everyone that's not a lightweight/Yoshi is objectively worse
