So I'm picking up a Switch really soon and I got a budget for 3 games, I already know I'm buying Mario Kart and Odyssey.

But I don't know If I should get BOTW or wait for Xenoblade 2.

Granted I like Zelda's and JRPGs and open world games and I did play (though I didn't finish) Xenoblade Chonicles X.

So I wanna know what you guys recommend.

If you're in the mood for an exploration open world game get Zelda if you want a JRPG get Xenoblade 2.

Do you really need mario kart 8?

this
also this

But to a certain aspect they're both open world and have exploration. Though I'm not sure if 2 is gonna be as big as X

Why didnt you finish XCX? Also skip MK8. Just wait for the next proper installment.

Other than Nintendo's official bundles, anyone think there may be some sort of "store exclusive" sales on Black Friday?

no, the switch doesnt have games at all if they bundle the console with 2 games you already has half the switch library

>Mario Kart
Only get Mario Kart if you enjoy being salty.

>sales
>Nintendo

Here's the thing, I'm getting it since I have friends visit my house a lot and we play a lot of Melee and Double Dash. Plus my wife loves Mario Kart, so I, myself, don't need it. But it'd definitely be a necessary addition to my library.

But you make a good point

Not OP, but anything good on the e-shop?

I've got Stardew - but i was wondering if there was anything else worth getting.

...

I was hacking my nephew's Wii U so I played for a couple of days before he came to pick it up. You think MK8 would be worth it on sale If it's even possible for Nintendo to have a sale?

I don't enjoy being salty, but I don enjoy Mario Kart with friends

Kamiko looks okay.

Rhyme, Sonic Mania, Steamworld Dig 2. Those are fun indie titles.

I know Mania's a Sega game, but it's a fan made game, funded by Sega. So I'm calling it an indie

Steamworld Dig 2
Mario + Rabbids
Might Gunvolt Burst
Disgaea 5
Fast RMX
Shovel Knight
Blaster Master

BoTW. Xenoblade is hot garbage.

It's really short, even for having 3 different characters to play as. Pick it up for a weekend filler.

Double votes for Steamworld Dig 2, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight and Blaster Master.

Disgaea 5 if you didn't play it on PS4, cuz nothing beats getting all the DLC included.

>I got a budget for 3 games
OR
>sign up for free GameFly trial
>renew by buying 3 month membership gift certificates
>Get a year of GameFly with two games out at a time for $146, plus your first month with one game free
>or get three games for $120
Your choice. Then, when you get more money later, you get a 10% discount on games and a $5 coupon every three months.

just saying mario kart is the weakest from that list

After reading your posts, pick Zelda. XB2 will have DLCs delivered thru 2018, it gives you time to finish Zelda and Mario then you can XB2

Wait what, I thought Gamefly was dead
And you're right. I'm mostly getting it for the friends and family who will eventually ask about it.
This seems like a good idea another good idea

What's wrong with Mario Kart?

Get XB2 and wait on Zelda since its getting that explorers edition down the road.

if you value world interaction over world design, BotW

if you value world design over interaction, Xenoblade 2. Xenoblade 2 also has more content

You can't go wrong with either Skyrim or Zelda, both are good timesinks.

THIS

well XC2 has something similar to zelda's dlc
