I don't care, Castlevania has been awful for years.

There are enough older ones that I haven't played yet that I'd much prefer those on VC than anything modern Konami could shit out.

I bet it will be either a Dracula's Curse remake to coincide with the Netflix series or a reimagining of the first game with Simon Belmont. I can see the Super Bomberman R team making it.

I hope From Soft's next spiritual Castlevania successor comes out on the Switch. I don't care what the theme is, as long as it's relatively novel. The Old West or Antiquity could be pretty cool.

A nice Castlevania pachislot game that you can take on the go to all of your Switch rooftop parties sounds like the perfect game for Konami to make in that time frame.

They should just continue the gba/ds series' like Aria of Sorrow 3 or Order of Eclesia 2.

we will never get another classicvania or a metroidvania again. konami is so fucking dead to me. no contra, no CV, no goemon, no silent hill, etc etc.

Fuck no. Octopath's spritework is lazy AND ugly.

Either a remake (Wayforward Ducktales style) of Dracula’s Curse using the Netflix designs.
Or a Soulslike made in the Fox Engine with Belmont, Morrison, LeCarde, Belnades, Dhampir, and Eccliessian being the starting clans (classes) you choose from.
Either one under current Capcom has the potential to be extremely shitty though.
