And I didn't even hate Y version. I guess I just kinda got burnt out after replaying fire red, emerald, platinum, black AND white and white 2 back to back.

I barely made it into the 2nd island on Sun version when I stopped playing.

After Gen 1. I honestly don't understand how Pokefags still enjoy the franchise.

Started with gen 4. I didn't think the new pokemon were interesting. A lot more legendaries came out, but wasn't really into it. I tried White for a while but didn't finish it that time. Picked up X and played through it, but after pokemon league not much to do and it was too easy. Still haven't picked up Sun/Moon. Heard early game sucks due to tutorials. I still keep up with what new female characters get released.

After D&P, also at the same time I discovered EV and IV shit that would itch my anxiety so everytime I started playing my head would tell me 'you know you aren't training them right'

Gen 4, and then again halfway through gen 6.
Nothing interesting was happening anymore, Pokemon just became a mundane thing. Gen 5 did something interesting by trying to be darker.

I never actually got bored of it, I just haven't owned a portable system since the Advanced. The latest gen I've played was 5, but it did end up being my favorite so far, so I guess I'm not bored of it (or the girls) yet.

X/Y was pretty boring but I managed to finish it. I started Sun but I didn't get very far.

Gen 7 is probably my favourite desu. The same formula gets tedious after a while, but I usually play through 1 pokemon game a year. Not gonna bother with Ultra SuMo until sometime next year when I'm finished with the rest of the 2017 releases.

When I played through the main story of Y and gave up before even going to the elite four. It was the first Pokemon I'd played since Gold and it felt pretty much the same, admittedly I never got into the deeper stuff.
The only stuff I care about from pokemon anymore is the porn. And not the people.

I started to feel the burnout after finishing Black 2 and skipped Gen 6 thinking it would help. Then I made the awful mistake of buying rather than pirating Sun, and now I've got a $40-sized hole in my bank account and a hope-shaped hole in my heart. At least SM gave me hope for the human designs - I still have a reason to drop into /vp/ for waifu/husbando threads, even if it's a shitty one.

Fennel and Juniper and White's mom are very underrated. It's a shame they seem to have been forgotten.

After B/W2 for me. I got really excited for SM but I never even got past the third totem battle in Sun before just not playing it again.

I finally got around to watching Generations last night and it has me depressed over the fact that I'm probably just entirely burnt out on Pokemon games forever at this point.
