What if you killed Azura and trapped her soul in Azura's Star?
It's impossible because isn't really on Tamriel in any point. Morrowind takes place while the Dragon Fires are still burning, meaning that Akatosh is keeping the daedric princes from entering Nirn. The only one who has done so since the start of the 3rd era to the time of Skyrim is Mehrunes Dagon during the finale of Oblivion. What you see in Morrowind is Azura's projection, not her actual being. In other words, she's just an illusion spell.

Why do people make these pointless 'general' threads? Please try to make some attempt at directing the discussing in the OP. These are purely retarded shitfests where people have no idea what to comment even though they might be interested in the topic and it'll end up in silly image bumps.
Just make some argument or question in the OP and people will reply to it and the discussion will evolve naturally.
That's not true. Whether the thread becomes successful or not is black magic. You can write a tl;dr or nothing without any difference in result.
Or you could browse the site more and see how these generic threads tend to have almost inevitably zero posts that's worth a read, and it's more about boring circlejerk and desperate bumping.
Anyone else hyped for OpenMW release in a few days?
Been thinking of replaying Morrowind. Should I just jump in vanilla?
>browse the site more and see how these generic threads tend to have almost inevitably zero posts
Use either Morrowind Code Patch or OpenMW to fix bugs. First one fixes lots of problems with Morrowind, but it's a bunch of hacks and the game can be unstable. The second one is an engine reimplementation and it's stable and gives better performance, but still got some bugs.
>worth a read
And they are different. They're either new and upcoming games that have generated hype, or at least have *some* attempt at directing the discussion in the OP.
>at least have *some* attempt at directing the discussion
No more than this OP.
Sure they do, apart from Scorpio or Battlerite.

There's a multiplayer mod now. TES3MP. It's still missing custom spells/potions/enchantments, weather sync, and a few other things, but I've been playing it with my little brother and we're having a blast. He goes in with heavy armor and a big sword, and I hang back and hit both him and the enemy with Greater Shockball until they both die.
...I probably need to switch to a different offensive spell.
But yeah, it's pretty amazing, and it's gotten me to play farther than I have on any other attempt. It works with most mods, too, as long as you all have them installed, so you can even play Tamriel Rebuilt. And of course there's random servers too.
There are very mods that truly fuck with the core experience, so you might as well go hog wild.

Guideanon's guide is pretty great, but takes for-fucking-ever to set up. You might also want to pick up something like Trainwiz's Main Quest Enhancers for an added sense of narrative progression.
>Tamriel Rebuilt may actually be finished within your lifetime
They're preparing a release of Old Ebonheart right now. They're finishing the last of the interiors and quests. Pic related, the orange thing. Not that the rest of Almas Thirr is far from a release, either. But that's two releases away, I guess.
>SHotN got a major update this year
They're planning another one for late December. They want to add the rest of The Reach to Markarth Sidhe (but not the city yet) and want to release land all the way to Dragonstar which will have a GIANT WALL between Hammerfell and Skyrim sides. You'll be able to do a questline that'll make you decide which side the city will fall to.
As for why it's taking them this long to release Old Ebonheart, it's because the city is absolutely massive and it and the small patch of land around it holds many interiors and npcs. Hopefully Almas Thirr will follow soon after Old Ebonheart. They have to polish small parts of Roa Dyr, populate it with NPCs and make some quests.
Afterwards, the Redoran/Hlaalu land west of Thirr river all the way to the border should take relatively little time for such a large batch because it's mostly uninhabited and both exterior and interiors are largely done.
Pic is Old Ebonheart.

I haven't heard much news form Province Cyrodiil, though. But they better be finalizing Anvil and the Golden Coast soon or I'll get angry.

I have the MCP downloaded, I need a program like 7zip to extract it right? Sorry, I haven't done shit like this in years.
Seriously man thank you for that link, I just got done going through it. I'll likely try to set up Morrowind this weekend with some of this stuff + MCP. I haven't played Morrowind in years and I cannot tell you how excited I am. Is there Load Order fuckery I need to get right though?
