There's plenty of shit games out there

Jade Empire uses the same engine and is better but nobody played it because it doesn't have Star Wars in its name.

The worst part about online gaming becoming so rampant is that good new WRPG's are basically non-existant.

Mask of the Betrayer and Planescape Torment are basically different iterations of the same game and are great.

Spreading out a little further, Baldur's Gate 1/2, Icewind Dale 1/2, Fallout 1/2/NV, and Original Sin 2 are all safe bets.

jade empire is criminally under appreciated.

Planescape, I can verify that it’s basically the same story with minor differences.

I could never get into NWN so I never played MOTB.

Game is sort of fun, art is good, sound and music is good, side quests are decent iirc but it can be tedious as shit.

the neverwinter nights games were fun if you are into DnD. They are also from the same era as kotor.

Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is definitely worth checking out.

D&D just isn't the same without thacos, negative armor class and 17-sided die.

I really don't understand this rating system. Wouldn't a shit game with a lot of votes be rated the same as a good game with few votes? It looks like the Points are the number of votes times the average and consequently a vote can only increase the score of a game. This doesn't make any sense. What is the Codex even doing?

Probably used some faggy IMDB ratings system which favours large amount of votes.
