The Wii U is a way better system as far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, having an extra screen was really handy, just like the DS/3DS. The Switch's gimmick doesn't add anything except "muh portability" but I honestly never play video games outside.

They should have ported some 3ds games to the WiiU. Basically do what Sony did to the vita (and what they're doing to the WiiU for the switch) and gut the portable to pad out what's available on the current thing.

Motion controls are designed to be a method of control, activating an action etc. no different than pressing a button.
