No, there really isn't. Most of his criticisms are about the genre or just untrue. His spiel on the worlds for example, claims they are all normal tropes, listing "lava world" as one of them. Then he goes on about how there is a "food" world. Meanwhile, these are the same world with the additional gimmick of being low poly thrown in. And "spooky" world is more unique, as it is tim burton esque instead of normal haunted house stuff. Forest world is also mechanized and shit. So he inaccurately complains about things being generic, and then he goes on to complain the city world doesn't fit the aesthetic. He contradicts himself left and right, and the dinosaur is used many more times than just the small cascade bit, so again he is wrong.

This "he gives actual criticisms" shit comes from people who think that being contrarian and/or cynical makes you smart. It doesn't Neither does speaking quickly about nonsense that is unrelated. It just makes you shit

I don't get the consistent theme thing criticism, I liked seeing Mario in realistic settings.

Also, I guess he doesn't feel this way anymore, but Miyamoto's original intention for Mario back when he was still "Jump Man" was that he'd be a character who could be put into anything. So they're just kinda living up to that.
