The legend is back, baby!
Nobuo Uematsu Composing Music For Final Fantasy XV
>FFXV
wow no ones cares
I love Uematsu. :)
At this point FFXV will be a full-fledged franchise in of itself.
FFXV-2: Electric Noctaloo when?
Sorry, Kevin Penkin is now Nobuo Uematsu. Time continued to move.
I was hoping to buy this game once it has been completed, but it looks like this is going to take a while...
Meanwhile Square continues to make profit out of the incomplete game with DLC and random stuff such as Noctis being in Tekken 7 all of sudden.
FFXV is going to be THE cashcow for SE for a long time.
>FFXV is going to be THE cashcow for SE for a long time.
not really, the game itself didnt sell well and neither are associated things
>multiplayer expansion
FOR WHAT let the game die and learn from your mistakes its 13 all over again
I think giving away the ending to FFXV before giving away all of this stuff that happens in-between after the fact was a bad idea. I feel spoiled like I should have waited before watching the ending cutscene. FFXV should have stayed a series of games that doesn't give away the final ending before the intermediate content, as it was originally intended in Versus XIII.
This shows you haven't played XV. The game had an ending that was pretty good, what it didn't have was a satisfying beginning of Act 3, due to how it jumped from place to place to advance the plot.
What? He's more like the new Joe Hisaishi for me
Versus XIII was originally supposed to be a trilogy instead of one game. Also, this may be the last and only game that uses their Luminous Engine, which they spent a lot of time and money developing, so they probably want to get as much juice out of the engine as they can before retiring it into the sunset.
>one theme
Pff let me know when he's composing the entire OST for another Final Fantasy again
Does Kevin Penkin still work for Uematsu's company Dog Ear Records?
Just get the Windows version when it comes out next year, it should have everything by then.
not for the 7 remake?
I hope so.
He was already back years ago for XIV and since then has done multiple themes for it, he also worked on mobile games and other shit
Who's the cute girl next to him?
Why does he need to come back for it? He's already composed it..
Emiko Suzuki, she sings the song
Emiko Suzuki, the vocalist At the tender age of 5, Emiko Suzuki started singing, and has been a member of Sugimoto Family which is her own family chorus group. In 2013, Emiko was selected to participate in the national competition of the 65th Prince Takamado’s Cup Junior High English Speech Competition organized under the Chiba Prefecture. In 2015, she won 1st Prize for the Vocal Section at Japan Gospel KOSHIEN Competition. She was recognized as the New Star of Japanese Gospel World and has made her appearance at ChildAid Asia 2016, Tokyo.

SHAMEFUR DISPRAY
Aaah shamefur dispray!
>"Can I stop now, boss?"
>"Is the cow dry yet?"
>"No."
>"Then KEEP MILKING!"
Can't wait for his GranBlue OST. His parts in XIV are already pretty good.
They should've called him for XV right away to make a theme instead of using a dumb pop cover that barely plays for a bit in the game
Leave him alone he's half dead already!
Let him enjoy his retirement and younger ladies.
John Williams is 85 and still writing masterpieces for films even today. He currently has projects booked up to 2020; he will be 88 years old.
>multiplayer expansion
Nobuo Uematsu is only 58 years old. Average age of retirement is 62. Even then, I think he has such a passion for making music so much he will never want to retire from it, instead choosing to write musical notes until his final breath.
It's supposed to show what happens during the 10 years of Noctis' departure into the crystal, which means they can keep adding new content to this for a long time.
>recouped costs on day one
>season pass stayed in PSN best-sellers for two months
>getting another manga because the first volume sold so well
>Namco just paid for Noctis DLC in Tekken
It's doing just fine, familia.
It's good that it's making money, but man seeing all that is weird when i think about mainline FF games.
I hope the series won't continue being early access full price titles with multiple season passes
Unless they announce a Season 2 Pass
I'll buy it
>Yoko Shimomura (Final Fantasy XV - Main Game)
>Keiichi Okabe (Episode Gladiolus)
>Naoshi Mizuta (Episode Prompto)
>Yasunori Mitsuda (Episode Ignis)
>Nobuo Uematsu (Comrades)
Who's next?
I prefer masashi hamauzu.
I wish I could find more of his stuff on Spotify.
Just completed the game for the first time and after that shitty meme open world part the game actually got good. Got more enjoyment out of it than FFXIII at least. But that's not hard I suppose.
I'm looking forward to comrades.
I hope they let me and my friends go on a journey together rather than just fighting monsters in a closed off area.
They're both great composers.
True.
WHEN THE NIGHT...
Mitsuda hasn't aged at all. He's literally a vampire.
I find it very intriguing indeed that after all these years, this is the first ever Final Fantasy that Mitsuda has actually written music for.
He used ot be great, but his recent soundtracks were all shit, so who the fuck even cares.
That's exactly what they're going for and also went for FFVII and FFXIII. Did you miss the XIII trilogy or the numerous VII spinoffs and prequels?
I don't know about that, his work in XIV was the stuff.
No, but it took VII multiple decades to get there. XV started before it even lanched and is only out for one year
Hopefully it won't become a trend
Wow, look at those completely sincere and not staged emotions:
youtu.be
Really brings the tear to my eye. Wow, the bueaty of it all. OMG
Why does everything XV related feel so forced. I hate MMOs but the people at least seem to know and care about FF
Tabata even said that the only FF he finished is 1
It was supposed to be a part of the Fabula Noval Crystallis franchise (i.e. the FFXIII series—Versus FFXIII, remember?), which itself includes four games right now. They also tried the Ivalice Alliance thing, although that went nowhere, because Matsuno fans despised the travesty that was FFXII, while Vaan-kissing faggots didn't care about FFT and Vagrant Story.
All of Japan's pop culture is lifeless and un-genuine.
>At this point
Have you been living under a rock for the last 5 years?
The games industry can't support single-installment titles anymore. Sequels, expansions. DLC, and spinoffs are expected to be able to recapitalize on investment. Budgets have increased exponentially while the price of games has actually dropped when you factor in inflation. Games are cheaper than they've ever been
>only FF he finished is 1
Wow, at least he was able to finish 1 FF in his lifetime. Too bad it wasn't the one he directed
Nobuo-san
Aww he looks like my grandpapi. Hopefully he will breath his final moment doing what he believes in. Bet most of colleagues are gone by now, it's kinda melancholic.
What did she mean by this?
>FFXV
Eww gross.
His pivotal contribution to gaming history will be forever remembered.
>tfw no HIGH ENERGY gf
Super Saiyan
I wish she could sing the Chocobo Theme.
Yeah, but he's also doing one for the Platinum game
When will we be able to buy the music for the DLCs? I especially liked Episode Prompto.
Why is it "gross?"
I wish the gaming industry wouldn't put short-term profits before everything else.
