Why aren't you playing Battlerite right now?
Why aren't you playing Battlerite right now?
I am and I just got to Diamond 5.
because it isnt bloodline champions
never heard of it
Post deer
because it's pay2win bullshit
>user you can have all heroes for free!
>it only takes like 6 months of dailies!
yeah no thanks, there are more generous games out there
because its shit and no amount of """""""waifus""""""" will change that
After OW and LoL I'm done with cancerous games forever.
my other 2 friends aren't online.
Because it looks like moba-style gameplay. I'd rather play something with either first or third person view where you feel like you're actually controlling your character, rather than something that's essentially an RTS where you order one unit around.
it's a twin stick shooter
I'm about to go to work
>because it's pay2win bullshit
It's literally not. Having more characters doesn't give you an edge over other people and there aren't runes or anything like that, you just play the game.
Because this skin isn't in the game.
so you pretty much have to play with an analog controller?
Because I only enjoy Lucie and I just get focused down every game.
No? What makes you think that?
>playing a game for some pixels ass
im not a teen anymore
I saw this game before, it didn't look like much to me. It's like condensed MMO or MOBA arena. I'm surprised it's still sticking around. It seemed like it would be really simple or easily broken.
Should've bought it on early access, poorfag.
Because you said it was a twin stick shooter.
real ass
But I am
>tfw you bought early access and the game actually made it to release
the absolute madmen
Because Stunlock can't balance their games for shit, and Battlerite continues to have largely the same issues as BLC did.
I shudder to imagine what the game will be like after they implement Thorn, who was notoriously OP for a ridiculously long time in BLC.
It's pay to play with a crippled poverty mode.
>tfw the game looks like fun but I'm too affected by performance pressure to play such team-oriented games with strangers
Thorn is already in the game you fucking mong, and he's not even that good. The only reason he's infamous right now is because all of the EA players are using him against f2p people, aka someone with 6+ months experience shitting on a guy with 2 days experience.
I'm the same way so I have been doing 3v3 so my failures can be obscured by my teammates.
I quit before they added him. And that's a poor excuse. If Thorn is doing good in a general sense, you can't put it all on inexperienced opponents because Thorns would also have to face other people who have been playing the game, not just the newbies.
It's a shitty top down MOBA, so any fap potential from the waifus in the game is lost.
I felt the same way until I found out it was WASD movement.
That's also a poor excuse. I play one of the shittiest characters in the game but have a positive win rate against thorns, most of them have the founders or beta titles.
Thorn shits on new players because he has two grabs a counter for him OR his ally, self healing, and one of the shortest spacebar cooldowns in the game.
If you know what he does you destroy him, if you don't then you get fucked by a whirlwind of movement then he blocks all your shit and hurts you for it then he does it again. It's L I T E R A L L Y all inexperienced opponents. All of the experienced players say thorn is shit and really weak compared to BLC. Try fucking playing the FREE TO PLAY game or even read the goddamn general before you blow shit out of your ass.
Because I played all day. I'm probably going to quit because I'm so good at QP now that playing ranked and reaching a point where I only win about every other game will feel like a letdown.
I think one of the things that makes pubg so popular is that you can do one or the other, and both are valid. Soloing in a game with lots of other players seemed almost forgotten in this age of team games. There's also no reason to ever ragequit. It really sidesteps all the normal pitfalls that normally afflict competitive multiplayer games, but has a few of its own unique issues.
Interesting, I might actually give it a shot because of this. I just want something to give me that same TBC-era wow feeling, when arenas were just coming out.
>another MOBA stunfest
no thanks
>it's a bad gets triggered by stuns episode
>bought game 6 months ago
>Come back during F2P
>Have all champions
>doesnt matter because you have to practice with only one for 50 hours to git gud.
Atleast its easier to get games then when it was pay to play but, i give it a month and the game will fade into obscurity.
Game has attractice female designs (overwatch, some mobas, this game)
>it's top down or a fucking fps
What is the point? Why can't they make a good 3rd person action view so you can see your char in action.
KBM is a thing, and honestly better for those types of games
Thorn is a pubstomper
Because Smite and Paragon is so great?
Is there a way to get the scoreboard off tab? That's my push to talk.
Just play a porn game then if that's what you care about
How is he weak? I do well with him even against experienced players.(Plat 1)
For me it's not even performance pressure, it's the shitty format. It would be great to do quick matches that are only best 2 out of 3 (or even, say, REALLY quick matches that are only one round). Best 3 out of 5 is just too long. Say you're down 2 to 0. You're demotivated because even if you do manage to make a comeback, the match has now become twice as long as would have otherwise been.
I'm one of the guys that legitimately prefers that new battleground mode to the arena format, and at that point frankly I don't see why I don't just go play HotS or LoL.
>Complain about game length
>Considering playing HotS or LoL as an alternative
>The prospect of making comebacks is demotivating for you
The problem isn't the game, it's you. This just doesn't seem like the game for you, which is unfortunate but it can't be helped.
I also don't like how in Overwatch, competitive mode is best 3 out of 5. The matches just drag on.
I'm just not a fan of round-based gameplay outside of fighting games.
>not deer ass
I just prefer playing actual games than becoming a literal computer by monitoring skill countdowns and stun durations.
MOBAs are not for me, sorry if this triggers you.
Because BLC had better aesthetic. Give me metal mommy
I agree. I'd like this game more if it was bo3 and they cut the intermissions even further (there's like 20s atm). Still room for comeback but stomps would feel less severe.
It's not, Blizzard changed that long time ago.
>BLC had better aesthetic
I will never understand this. That said Metal Warden is coming by the end of the month.
>he didn't buy it during early access just a day or two before release, played for an hour then refund his money and kept all the champions unlocked
smdhtbhf
what's her name? and is that a shotgun? might play this if it is and she's actually decent
Jade, and she has an assortment of weapons, a shotgun blast is one of her attacks but not her primary. The main shotgunner is Iva, a short hillbilly granny who is more of an engineer type.
it's gw2 but worse
It always makes me sad to see top tier girls being wasted on a shit game
>melee are absolute trash
Every fucking time with these games
its gay
The literal opposite is true and the game favors melees right now.
>cooldown based combat
The most overpowered character in the game right now is melee you idiot.
pretty much every game ever?
>what is reloading your gun? or recovering stamina?
fuck outta here bitch
which character is it?
>Crazy tribal designs
vs
>Cookie cutter WoW tier cartoony shit
Inhibitor was a rad as fuck monk wearing a fucking elephant mask in BLC. Now he is FloatyMage McGeneric.
t. retard who hasn't played a fighting game in his life
...
Every match I've played so far has been a stomp one way or the other. Not a single one has been a fair and challenging fight.
Is that just how things go in games like these? I'm not sure I like that.
Waifus are marketing jewish tricks to get overly horny simps into parting with their money, it is literally no better than sjwism, on-disc dlc, and pre-order bonuses. They are designed to obscure flaws and failures.
>You need 900 gold to unlock most supports
>Pestilus costs 4450 gold
The fuck
This game honestly feels closer to fighting games than stuff like DotA but I guess it depends on what you like fighting games for.
BLC had awful art direction. It was cohesive sure but also not very appealing visually.
Try playing 3v3 more, but the game is pretty unforgiving in general.
(lol
because its a bad game
Only played a little bit since release, but there's a lot of new people right now. I imagine ratings will take some time to settle for more even matching
They tried and everything besides paladins failed hard.
Is this hottie good? I can't seem to be very effective with her.
>Not very appealing visually
I'll fight you on that, m8
I'm not hearing an argument, you woman obsessed excuse.
>You will never hear his mocking laugh again as you kill someone
The only ones that looks cool to me are Metal Warden and Sentinel
>Games are generally better received when they have appealing characters
Rocket science
Lucie is hard as shit and very unforgiving. Your Clarity Potions and barriers really need to be on point.
The point is that bad games are received better than they deserve because they have "appealing" characters.
Which character?
We talking 2's or 3's?
>engineer
>no turrets
yeah no iva focuses more on debuffing enemies and applying your DoT burn with your oil + flamethrower/rocket
Don't post sad Koko :(
>Games are generally better received when they have appealing characters
A game should be received well on its merits, waifus, sjwism, whatever, invalidate objective review because it was done to either appeal or placate undesirables who do not give a shit about the end product, just if they get served or not
Objective reviews do not exist.
I can see a dirty trick and market research when I see it, and waifus are that and then some.
We're very impressed, user.
Both
Okay sure, but you're saying that a game is bad purely on the basis of it trying to have appealing art direction.
I meant Engineer insofar as her relying on various homemade gadgets to get the job done.
This game just feels like a slapfest so far. Am I playing it wrong?
Its a fucking MOBA-like game, its quality is clear as day and you only turn a blind eye to it due to shitty waifus
you might have some sort of mental handicap user
I agree with you. Having likeable characters, visuals, music, etc are all positive factors that enhance the overall experience. Gameplay is the most important factor but acting as if it's the only thing that matters is blatantly untrue because even the best games tend to have other things that maje the whole product better.
you're straight up wrong. You're a shill or a fanboy from leddit
>figh-
Opinion discarded ;)
POST
FAUN
ASS
Because I just did
Classic Jade best Jade. Newbies get out
>Everyone picking muh waifu supports
>Best support is the ugly one
My cunt of a father disconnected the cable going into the router from my desktop and locked the closet. Emotionally abusive cunt.
So is Hotline Miami and that game plays like shit with a controller
>Costs more than four times more to unlock than the waifus
What did they mean by this?
