Oy vey that's not how you run a business.
Go outside
Nintendo will never do that type of gatcha.
By the way, how bad is the gatcha in Fire Emblem Heroes?
Has the meaning of the term "gatcha" really been mangled this much already?
>>Nintendo will never do that type of gatcha.
That's not a gatcha at all.
The rate at which you gain orbs is ridiculously high in feh, especially in the early game. It's not bad at all.
bad
>gatcha
AAAAAAAAA
I AM TIRED OF YOU FUCKS.
READ A FUCKING BOOK
If you are paying for something that is already on file/disc/card then is gatcha, Street Fighter X Tekken already proved it.
escapistmagazine.com
Japan made it's gatcha laws after some kid spent $800 on disc DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken and made the emperor cry when reading the news, he paid back the money to the kid's family and told the diet to make the needed gatcha laws, now if only other countries will do the same as Japan.
>Jump Tokens
>not A Press Tokens
That very article PROVES YOU WRONG you fucking strawberry cupcake retard.
>"Gacha" is basically a draw for a random virtual item, while "complete gacha" requires that players draw a specific set of gacha items in order to earn another, rarer or more powerful item.
>I've had this conversation with a number of our key developers, and their mentality is, "Reggie, when we sell a game, we want the consumer to feel that they've had a complete experience." Now, in addition, if we want to make other things available, great, and we'll look at that.
>But what we're unwilling to do is sell a piece of a game upfront and, if you will, force a consumer to buy more later. That's what they don't want to do, and I completely agree. I think the consumer wants to get, for their money, a complete experience, and then we have opportunities to provide more on top of that.
Friendly reminder that 10 jumps is the complete experience, so jumping more than 10 times just gives you an additional experience.
> "Gacha" is basically a draw for a random virtual item, while "complete gacha" requires that players draw a specific set of gacha items in order to earn another, rarer or more powerful item
From your own source.
DLC =/= gacha
Learn what words mean you dumb shit.
So you can get two for one? I like that idea.
So a loot crate box in other words.
>If you are paying for something that is already on file/disc/card
That's just microtransactions/DLC you retard look up Gatchapon, read what is and then understand where the term comes from before making more stupid uninformed posts.
That is talking about on disc DLC, not legit DLC.
what if i only do a half button press?
Those are both DLC and neither of them are gacha.
>make a system where you pay your workers with tokens they can only use in your stores
>you get to keep all the real shekels their work produce
Do you even jew?
worse, loot boxes for jump tokens
>Be me
>Joking with friends
>Hahaha, can you imagine how bad these things could get? "Pay 99 cents for an extra jump."
>Other friend goes "I know right? Give us $2.99 to open this door."
>A third friend comes in. "Don't be stupid, something like that wouldn't happen in our lifetime even if it could, which it won't."
Not even joking, third friend killed himself five years ago.
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you linked the wrong article.
Sorry we don't speak radiation poisingneese.
Maybe we need to drop a third bomb to show weeabos whatsup
Imagine being this stupid
on disc DLC is only a few kilobytes when legit DLC can be anywhere from 100s of megabytes to any amount of gigabytes.
The later is better as the former should be available for free out of the box.
>third friend killed himself five years ago.
Well, on the plus side that's one less willingly ignorant consumer.
Those are both still DLC and neither of them are gacha.
>Purchase A-Press Token
>Only use half an A-Press
>Game refunds half the money you spent
Your friend made sure he was right.
you're a pretty shitty friend if you let that friend of yours commit suicide, sure you saw the signs and chose to ignore them
It brought up Street Fighter X Tekken as a forum of gatcha, what to you expect.
It would go more like this
>purchase A-press Token
>use half an A-press
>game uses entire A-press token because it won't register halves, only whole.
>purchase more A-press Tokens goy
On disc DLC is gatcha as "Gatcha! The content you bought is already on the disc and can be easily hacked with out risking a ban.", thats why it's called gatcha.
The irony is he was right, since he kicked the bucket before that shit went down.
If you're trying to make me give a fuck, you've failed, he literally killed himself because I bought the car he spent two years saving money for a week before he had enough money, then I fucked his girl in it, all just before his dad passed away in a car accident because he drove home drunk because he didn't have a car to go pick him up.
That's how tiendas de raya worked in Mexico about 100 years ago.
...
pretty shitty friend
>I can use words completely wrong because I'm murrican
Being a japanese word isn't an excuse anymore since it's a full on loanword now and the actual " gatcha" brand of capsule machines has actually existed in NA for some time.
What the fuck am I reading
user, don't tell me you're one of those "true friends are forever" retards. He's an acquaintance and was only kept around because his girl was hot. Stop being such a fucking cuck.
no one can possibly be this ignorant and retarded.
Just take your (You) and leave.
user's attempt at covering up his stupidity with humour.
There's already an example of Nintendo trying Microtransactions in a full-fledged F2P game: Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. It's balanced so that you can clear things in the first half of the game with little more than good team comp and knowing what you're doing, but mid-game (where I am in it) the grind for XP can take a while due to Vigor (the fights themselves are always under 4 minutes).
The Gem Apples are also really important, and are the only thing you can spend money on. You use them to buy weapons, armor, and augmentative items; you use them to unlock the next set of challenges so they're required to progress the story; you can use them to revive if you wipe or add more time to the clock or refill your Vigor; you can also use them to improve your drops or recharge Vigor faster; you can use them to call upon other players' Kirbies with their level and gear and AI being better (although you can summon 3 a day for free). You get a set amount per 12 hours plus more when you complete side objectives and occasionally when you recruit via Streetpass.
On top of that they have one-time discounts on the purchase rates and a bonus multiplier if you buy on Sunday. Not sure if those are standard in other F2P games but they're nice even if I don't want to actually spend money on it.
Overall if this is the template I'll take it. The game itself is quite fun since it's 4v1 Kirby bossfights with 4 abilities expanded into classes.
I wonder what the minimum amount of jumps is needed to beat super mario
then he was never a friend user, you used the word friend and not acquaintance
If something is already on the disc then it can be hacked back into the game.
Are you this retard? If so, that explains a lot.
not that user but true friends are forever user, people come and go in your life, but a real friend is always there no matter how long apart. So that guy was either not your friend to begin with or you're a massive miserable dick
you sound like a sad and lonely person
>not that user but true friends are forever user
No, he's just retarded
t. a guy who never had any real friends
>By the way, how bad is the gatcha in Fire Emblem Heroes?
It's quite good. You're getting so many Orbs for new heroes quite easily.
And you sound like you have autism since you answered a yes/no question with "hurdur ur sad".
But since you're too retarded to answer let me clarify my point.
For someone claiming others are sad, you sure like to spend your time imagining these dipshit scenarios
>Option 1 (.099 per Jump)
>Option 2 (.0998 per Jump)
>Option 3 (.01998 per Jump)
>Option 4 (Jump > 5,004.5)
How many jumps do you guys reckon is in the original Mario?
t. a guy who doesn't know what friendship is
You should go back.
a lot of single player mobile games have an "unlock everything" option priced higher than everything else, usually the price of buying an actual game, except you're still left with shallow mobileshit
I never said I wasn't sad myself user
You really should go back.
...
Have you ever considered suicide? Because you really seem like the kind of person that could benefit from that. Don't worry, nobody will notice you're gone.
I know nobody will
Well yeah, when you're a dipshit drama queen you'll find people are put off. You should try not being a dipshit drama queen you faggot.
