Reminder that the whole reason Yoshi's design changed is because Nintendo insists on designing Yoshi after the Yoshis in Yoshi's Story, which makes 0 sense considering those Yoshis were supposed to be very young children.

I still prefer YI-Yoshi, but I think the main issue with Yoshi's new design is less that it's a bad design and more that they just cannot fucking make his nose look not-shit in 3D. Seriously, it just looks like a glued on bowling ball.

No kidding. It's weird, too, because the only 3D Yoshi design I can think of that tried to mimic his YI design instead of the Yoshi's Story-esque one was his model in Melee, and it ended up looking a thousand times better despite the weird look a lot of melee models had.

Eggman is a total Chad. He's always fully confident in himself and fights until the end, and always comes back, never giving up on his dream.

What I never understood is why he didn't just use his godlike intellect and seemingly infinite funds to just make robotnikland on the moon, like, just revamp the ARK, he's done similar shit before, fucks sake, he made the death egg.

Yeah. You can see it really clearly when you compare YS-Yoshi to the more modern designs, since YS-Yoshi was very clearly not designed to be ridden like YI/SNES Yoshi was. It's pretty funny when you see Yoshi's new design in NSMB, because it looks like shit whenever they have to have Mario riding new Yoshi.

Explained earlier in the thread. Basically, for some weird reason, they started using the design in Yoshi's Story as the basis for Yoshi's designs in 3D. The problem with that, unfortunately, in that the Yoshis in YS were intended to be young children.

Never play Puyo Puyo, the original three of is better than anything afterwards. "20th" is a ok try to modernize the classic ones but messes up the idea of the original design with the hat, and the last one is the famous case of "tryhard". Too much clutter of adding the old but adding new shit, and mainly ruining it all by rounding everything out. Seriously, stop this meme shit with roundness. Edges are cooler design wise, it's an abstract kind of thing.
