But I did that back in 2001 you FUCKING LOSER
Nah I'm just kidding man, congrats, that campaign is super fun.
...
When I first completed it I was like "holy shit that was intense" then went to masturbate and still feel that extreme "holy shit" moment from completing that game on legendary.
That difficulty is no fucking joke it makes dark souls it's bitch.
>legendary alone
why did you autists do this? it's a complete waste of time
Halo 1 on legendary is easy though.
Halo 2 is way more difficult on legendary.
>alone
Fuck that shit, I've only ever completed Halo campaigns with a friend, there's no way I'd be able to do it solo.
the halo 2 levels in old mombasa on legendary may as well be Iraqi war simulator
i get a little bit triggered now whenever i hear the *pew* sound of the beam rifle
Was fucking great, one of the best finales I've played through before.
FUCK YOU I WANT TO SEE WHAT'S UNDER HIS HELMET
It's another helmet
Just play Halo 4 on Legendary :^)
Legendary is the co-op difficulty.
Not say you can't do it alone, but it's a tedious experience.
...
I was like 11 so I don't know.
Though it may have been many years later when I completed it by myself without my brothers cooping it up.
...
>The Truth and Reconciliation
worst level on Legendary for me, especially the part in the beginning when you enter the ship
I am going to play Halo for the first time ever on MCC, what difficulty is better? Legendary is super hard?
>trying to keep the marines alive
>a dozen invisible sword elite assholes
I can still hear their screams
Sperged the fuck out.
I was also like 15 and hopped up on Mountain Dew.
I was happy back then.
Legendary means you will be oneshot constantly by snipers and stray grenades, and that having a plasma pistol at all times is mandatory if you ever want to kill enemies with energy shields.
>that fucking Captain Keyes escort section
Well, then I think I will not be playing is this one for the first time.
Heroic is your best bet, Easy and Normal are both such a breeze that you'll get no satisfaction and Heroic is challenging but not bullshit.
...
the last shooter I remember that did not include auto aim on a console. Actually made me gud at shooting on a controller.
It depends on the particular game in the series, but Heroic is almost always the best balance between difficulty and fairness.
Cool, thank you, user!
...
Good luck bruv, I hope you don't get fucked playing MCC. It's been a good couple of years but I remember that it was pretty fucked by glitches and some of them applied to the campaign too.
Also, this is just my taste, but I think the older graphics give the game a much greater charm than the fancier new ones. I'd at least recommend not entirely playing on new graphics, pop on the old ones once in a bit and see what it was like in 2001.
This is less of a problem for Halo 2 which I think has much better remastered graphics.
Have fun nig.
Honestly I thought two betrayals was worse than the library
MCC is pretty much the best way to play the campaign's solo, it's only a problem when doing networking stuff, mostly.
Also, I think the new graphics are fine for CE on every mission OTHER then 343 guilty spark, which is better on the old graphics.
Ror H2, the new graphics are universally better, but the new music is worse for the Banshee sequence in The Arbiter, so it might be worth switching back to the old graphics just for tha tone part to get the old music
I think the original music is better for CE
>Sup Forums likes halo now
I've seen people say this for both CE and 2 but I don't see it, all of the music updates are extremely faithful (aside from the licensed tracks in 2 that had to be replaced) and pretty much are the same tracks, but essentially re-recorded in better audio quality/fiidelity.
"welp, time to start on 2"
t. binged the master chief collection for armor in 5
...
Bump
Halo 2 was weird in that the first levels were the hardest and the game generally got easier toward the end.
Cairo Station threw so many Elites at you for something that is the first level, and the damn snipers
>Desperately trying to survive as wave upon wave of covenant barrel towards you in the one room with 3 open floors
I dont know how I made it through bros
T&R was even worse than Tsavo Highway was in Halo 3
>now
You fucks wanna know true PTSD in halo?
>Library on legendary
>two betrayals on legendary
>the maw on fucking legendary
True fucking PTSD shit right there!
Gravemind on Legendary is harder then cairo station.
Outskirts is pretty bad too if you don't use the skip
So many ptsd levels in the halo games.
in 3 cortana comes to mind.
>Dark Souls difficulty analogy
I wish Microsoft would put The MCC on PC, but I guess they want to keep Halo on Xbox since it's basically the only exclusive it's got at this point.
A shame tho, I would love to revisit these games.
Someone post your stories from playing this game on legendary please!
