I wasn't really sure, I think the consensus was a guy killing his wife and child
You choose to kill the Judge or play as the Judge to defeat the monster you created.
Story-wise, one of my favorite moments in an indie rpg
The space monkeys were to make you feel somewhat off
YOU WERE THE EVILS THE WHOLE TIME JOHN.
So you either fuck everything over or try to stop yourself from fucking things over.
Even if you stop things from being fucked over you've already made a void world so gg.
>He didn't create turn everything OFF.
PURE TERROR
You mercy kill the world if you don't back out at the last second.
The Batter was still the protagonist even if you dont' like what he was doing.
The world was already rotten. It was time to let go.
You either erasing whole world or prevent Batter from doing so.
>CP
>siding with the judge
>walking around the destroyed areas
>wow this is creepy
>find these fuckers
>my fucking face
genuinely one of the most terrifying things ive had happen in a game
It was cool to see his attacks and realize how strong he really was for just a little talking cat.
Sans done right
To be fair the gameplay and general graphical style was so fucking bad it's amazing anyone made it to the end.
Either help the Batter put the ruined world out of its misery
Or join the Judge and spare the little life that remains
World's fucked either way
I guess I meant what was up with the whole last section. The last three bosses talk to you as if your a child, but you still play as the batter. Is the batter an older hugo?
youtu.be
Why was the soundtrack so gooooooood
Batter and Queen were created by Hugo. That's about all i can remember, really need to replay it.
I got the impression that it was about a terminally ill kid who had died, and you were in some sort of limbo ghost world.
Is that what they are? If so it might explain Hugo thinking up Japhet and co.
Honestly it was pretty amazing, but the whole theme naming of attacks left me kinda confused.
Is the judge giving you aneurysms as his main means of attack? What the hell does doing math functions at you do? Is Omega attacking the enemies with fucking image filters?
I get The Queen scolding The Batter, i think, but it still is 2pomo4me
Brain illness analogies. I mean the main theme of The Room is called Brain Plague
You're cancer and you either kill a kid or just leave him as a vegetable
Zone 3 is one of the best things in gaming.
>that gradual uncovering if truth
>that unexpected boss size
Is it just me or does something look OFF about the Batter's face? It kinda looks like an alligator face viewed from the near front if you look at it a certain way...
It looks like has two pairs of eyes. Pretty fitting, considering he's not human
I can see that.
I always thought he looked kinda like Brock from Pokemon, but if you interpret the 'ear' as an eye he's kinda gecko-like yeah.
Remember that dumb headcannon from tumblr that the batter had 4 eyes because of his sprite?
The game calls them Competence Points.
