I'm just going to sound like some autistic contrarian, but I honestly am kinda disappointed that EA lowered the in game currency needed for heroes. I find that I enjoy games much more when I have a goal to work towards, and feel like there's something missing when playing a game after I have all unlocks.
Does anyone agree or am I just a retard?

You knew before you posted this someone was gonna call you a shill and it's me. You fucking shill.

They also decreased the amount of XP you earn by 75%, so you can still feel as "accomplished" as you would have before, retard.
Noah Wilson
>goal to work towards Never the case in the original SWBF2. Literally everyone was playable from the start.
Ryan Thomas
i would be fine with 30k hero costs but 60k was to much
Lincoln Rogers
Stop using games a substitute for actual accomplishments. Or stop shilling, one of the two.

>I find that I enjoy games much more when I have a goal to work towards
that's great but when you only earn ~300 credits per round 60,000 as a cost for anything is absolutely absurd
Alexander Stewart
was it only the campaign reward or was it -75% to all challenges and milestones
Brandon Perez
Name 3 games where progression systems made the game better
Dylan Lopez
You can try to as EA for a golden vader or whatever for 100k credits
Ayden Mitchell
I'm ok with the change, they went from 40 hours to get Vader to 10 hours. That's still a significant amount of time if you also work full time and are playing other games too.
Jackson Robinson
sorry to say but I have to disagree with you user, you don't sound like an autistic contrarian, you sound like an autistic fag
Oliver Diaz
You're a retard for even wanting to play the game in the first place
William Campbell
the problem is not locked content the problem is designing the game around a heavy grind to make you pay it's simple f2p mobile game tactics
Carson Anderson
goal to work towards: >40h of gameplay just to unlock ONE hero, bear in mind that you cannot spend credits anywhere else.
actually buying lootboxes: >Buy 100$ of Lootboxes like Gamestop did, still get less than half of whats needed to buy a single hero.
Either way, you're getting fucked. And also, you are just retarded.
Jeremiah Brown
I like working towards new character unlocks in R6: Siege. I liked the progression in BF4 too, always had a goal every round to work towards. I liked it in Black Ops 1 too.
Jackson Wood
>People like filling bars more than playing video games Not surprised considering the shitty state of this industry
Justin Hernandez
They also like having advantages over noobs rather than an even playing field. Modern games are casual trash.
Angel Baker
They reduced the amount of XP needed because they care about gamers. Based EA
Mason Green
The problem with this thread is that you aren't entirely wrong, and people will argue from the perspective that you either must be entirely right or wrong.
The problem with your perspective is that everyone has different ideas of what amounts to "earning" something and different goals when they play games. I don't want to play for 40 hours to unlock hero characters in a game I'm not very likely to put more than a hundred hours into. I don't want to play for more than 10 hours to unlock characters that are essentially a primary selling point; to me, this isn't much different than walling Ryu behind 40 hours of game play.
Are you entirely wrong for wanting to put dozens of hours into a game to unlock something that, arguably, should not have been walled behind so much of a requirement (or not walled at all)? No, certainly not, but I still think you're a fucking idiot for feeling that way.
Robert Stewart
No they didn't, the only reward they lowered was the campaign credit reward to match the new credit price for Iden. Stop posting this reddit cancer rumor please.

>Does anyone agree or am I just a retard? Well posing the question for yourself is big step forward OP.
