These idiots are calling for the government to step in and "regulate" lootboxes as if that would keep things from getting worse. It would just set a limit on how badly they can legally screw over their playerbase, and every publisher will go that far immediately. And with how easy it is to lobby for things by throwing money at it combined with the ignorance of government officials concerning video games, there's no way it'll be anything reasonable.
