It's EA making a Star Wars game. No matter how shitty it is, it will be a financial success.

The game itself is excellent. It's the whole lootbox and character unlock that peeved people off -- which is an EA special. I can only hope that DICE doesn't get bought by EA, because the fluidity, gameplay, atmosphere, and buzzword are top notch.

Anyone noticed how the Darkside cast are generally more powerful, or rather seem to do more damage?

The core gameplay is actually really fun.

The problem is EA made the micropay influence the gameplay so much that it tarnished the game's quality as a whole.

Yeah i mean i don't really care for loot boxes but in all honesty maybe i'd actually end up buying one or three. I just want to play the game and from what i've tried in the trial it is fun

I've watched multiple videos and generally it seems that the combat is fun and the gunplay feels better than the first game, but the star card system makes it pretty unbalanced. It's not terribly noticeable in ground-based combat, but a starfighter with all level 4 star cards will literally shit all over the competition. Considering you can use starfighters on maps to target shit troopers on the ground, you can easily go 60+ kills with 0 deaths.
