Their "holiday line up" this year is the console itself. It makes perfect sense to reassure people that 2018 will have just as solid a lineup as 2017 when they're considering whether to buy the console. Hell, I wouldn't mind if it was just a bunch of ports, I'd love switch ports of Samus Returns, Wonderful 101, Bayo 1+2, Donkey Kong TF, Ever Oasis, etc.
