I will agree that I'd like to see some adult fiction in the world of interactive fiction. But we live in a world where grown men and grown women still line up to watch cape movies so I won't hold my breath.

This game was a guilty pleasure of mine but I'm pretty sure everyone hated it.

Yeah, it's horrible.
There is nothing wrong with a bunch of teenagers doing "cringey" things. It makes the game more enjoyable imo, kinda like a constant barrage of resident evil cutscenes.
