>before original Battlefront series
>before Republic Commando
>before KOTOR II
>before Empire at War

It's multiplayer is the only Star Wars game that requires skill, though.

>It's multiplayer is the only Star Wars game that requires skill, though.
using hax doesn't require skill tbfh

none of those games are good, they're console trash

>empire at war
>console trash

Republic commando may have been multiplat but it's far from trash you fucking cunt. Something being on console doesn't make it bad.
KOTOR 2 was also great. EMpire at war, now that was shit, can't believe people still love that generic rts shit so much.

entire strategy genre was long dead at that point

jedi knight games were not really mass consumption products and were intended for small numbers of skilled players

>Something being on console doesn't make it bad.

yes it does, in most cases it means the game was designed for controller

third person shooter controller shit = console trash not pc games

Yes. It's inarguable

It was trash dude

>console trash
>console
are we talking about the same Empire At War, the RTS game? Or are you implying it was released on consoles?

And holy macaroni Empire at War Gold was the shit. I don't know how contrarian you have to be to shit on it and all these other games.

Yeah, this was the best Star Wars game ever and the only one to actually make you feel like a jedi.
Force Unleashed tried to do something similar but they went full retard so it was garbage.

no, because jk2 was better. jka was casualized

and dark forces 2 is better than both.

You got it wrong. JK2 was way more casualized in terms of gameplay, but the storyline was better. JKA had the better gameplay and multiplayer.

This game and Outcast are literally my favorite games of all time.
>Unparalleled saber physics (Outcast was a tad tighter).
>Varied gameplay varieties.
>Intricate sprawling level design.
>Kick ass multiplayer
>Mods mods mods

no, you retarded yuroshit. it didn't. how many times do i have to tell you this? jka's dueling was trash. dual and staff sabers were mindless noob spamming shit that made high level dueling into nothing more than saber pokes. fuck you

Dual and saber were shit at duels lmao. Single saber was the only reliable choice for serious duels. You could have criticized the poor balancing here but you clearly didnt play the game very long

>playing as some retard instead of kyle katarn
>the retard friend character (at least you could murder him i guess)
>a lot of shitty levels
academy's single player was pretty bad

Meant to so varied gameplay options. Using the force was so satisfying in that game. Force lightning in JKA was god tier.

>academy's single player was pretty bad
This. I couldn't even be bothered to finish it. Outcast single player is so fucking good.

>third person shooter
Guess how I know you've never played the game

>You will never have another good Jedi Knight, Guild Wars 1, or Phantasy Star Ep 1-2 game again

why even

shouldn't you boast about your 4000$ pre-built on r/pcmasterrace?

LEGO Star Wars II was the last good Star Wars game.

>install some mod
>Pick padawan difficulty
>Start sp
>Training droid is now luke
>Die
Dark souls got nothing on this shit

>still no dedicated mb2 Sup Forums server
lmao

>yes it does, in most cases it means the game was designed for controller
If anything the PC version of KOTOR 2 is massively superior to the console version due to all the fixes/patches. It sounds like you're just blindly hating on those games without having played them. M&KB works great for KOTOR.

for multiplayer yes but i prefer outcast when playing singleplayer

>EaW
>good

Space combat was fun but the game was anything but balanced and ground combat was awful. And boy, did that expansion shit the bed.

...

There literally was one when the game was more alive ya simp

I mean so was Jedi Academy though

>>Unparalleled saber physics (Outcast was a tad tighter).

i remember playing these games when i was young and don't remember much of a difference but i always see people saying outcast did the saber combat better, what did they do differently?

80% of JKA was the modding scene.

every try hard went single saber strong stance(or high w/e)
it was too good

yup, checks out
good job OP. Too patrician for neo AND nu/v/

sabers clash together more in outcast and one or two saber hits will kill

in academy its much easier just to straight up cut through someone, and enemies have much more health

God, I played the fuck out of this game when I was a kid. Good times. I remember using the console to spawn a bunch of clones of my character and having them fight each other and enemy NPCs.

>when games used to let you have fun
