>tfw finished RE:DC and don't remember hearing that track at all
The new soundtrack was only for the Dualshock edition.
Ayo how do you want your soundtrack?
youtube.com
Even ignoring the two that always gets posted, the whole soundtrack is awful.
youtube.com
When a good track goes bad
youtube.com
Wew.
One of my favorite, less posted ones.
I remember that from a Fact Hunt video
That 28 seconded mark
youtube.com
Don't you fucking go defending this like it' a piece of art now
This is a thread for bad music, not godly music
Seriously, what was up with that?
>plays in the final moments of the game where shit is going down, everything is out to attack you, and the soundtrack adds to the disorientation
Seems appropriate
youtube.com
It all goes wrong.
user... really? It's obviously supposed to sound weird. u stupid
supposed to be unsettling
So bad it's godlike
This has to be a shitty sound card
What where they thinking with that hit sound?
Where did you get this video of my jam?
this is pretty great
They were thinking that people playing this game were going to have a sound card installed.
This is JAMMIN
I legitimately don't think this is bad
you're pretty good
No, it's seriously single channel
holy shit this is so fucking 90's, I LOVE it
>Pizza Power from the fucking TMNT musical was in both the arcade version and the credits for Turtles in Time
this never fails to get me. konami used to be fucking MASTERS
I fucking love Lisa's weird ass music
youtube.com
The disjointedness of it actually works for the setting; iirc this is when Harry is going through the pitch black alleyways with nothing other than a lighter acting as lighting as ghost children crawl towards him
>Club Rubb
WOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ah yes, Bowie's 'Nine Inch Nails' phase...
fuck you
Unironically agree with this, and yet everyone posts it as an example of Sleeping Dog's good music.
fuck you. i've never played this game but this song is on my mp3 player
youtube.com
That's fucking great faget
run is the best track in the game though
Literally worse than modern Sonic Crush 40 songs. I mean that sincerely.
Nothing personal, as I've ALSO never played this game, but get better taste.
This is for terrible music, not manufactured pop. If you can't tell the difference (and I'm no music man. I still listen to mindless self indulgence), you need to get lower standards. If anything isn't 10/10 to you is it 0/10?
the zenix spectrum system was a computer that had a 1 bit channel for sound and it technically didnt have a sound card. There as also something about resetting it cause memory, but that would cause the notes to go out of tune or something. Basically it should be impossible to code any music on the system but tim follin is a god
youtube.com
Ok this is kind of amazing.
GAY TRUMPETS INTENSIFY
youtube.com
The song just fucking blows, even from a 'mindless pop' standpoint. It's cacophony.
so the latter
Fuck that's a good mashup
youtube.com
Sure but Manic Miner is just horrible. It sounds like it would be used in psychological experiments or torture
Mikami resurrected this music in The Evil Within 2. Any time Anima shows up, the song that plays has a very obvious homage to this amazing basement tune from Director's Cut. It's unmistakable.
youtube.com
Around the 00:50 mark
god tier
real shit
youtube.com
This shit is fucking great pussy
>hating on the most kino soundtrack in gaming

Shit music thread
>posts a hip-thrustin' bust-a-movin' beat
That's actually a legitimate use of cacophony though and done correctly, not a steaming pile of shit written by someone who is tonedeaf.
I'm convinced that PC games were inferior to consoles by default until maybe the absolutely latest 90s but more realistically into the 2000s. Maybe even around 2002-2004 is when they finally started getting shit worth an actual shit. Outside of that PC only ever got the occasional amazing exclusive or port. Its also only really been in the past 10 or so years that PC's were default superior in specs to consoles. In fact its never really changed with PC. Consoles always really beat them. Its really just the same shit different year. Mustards think otherwise but it is true.
DOSBox games are fucking pure shit. This is simiply one of many shit old PC games from the day.
Sure, I'm not meaning to defend the original track as good. Just.. charming.
fuck that legit spooks me
I always figured that track was meant to be this annoying. You aren't supposed to like anything in Silent Hill. Its supposed to disturb you. Not make you want to headbang to the music or some shit. In regards to the final boss I imagine that Harry wants to just kill that sick disturbed looking creature as soon as possible. The music plays well into that.
So is it bad? Yes but sometimes things are better or more appropriate when they are bad.

Fucking hell, i hadn't thought about this in ages
Does someone have that 8-bit sound track from a a dos vidya that was something pretty amazing for such a limited sound board.
>administering an Action 52 dose that large
nope
I actually like DC music.
I don't care if I'm in the minority, I fucking actually do like it.
The game also didn't really have too many absolutely awful unfitting tracks. Some are actually quite good if not better than the original soundtrack to.
original ost > dc ost
But not dramatically better.
youtube.com
I'm with ya. Most of it isn't even bad at all. It's just that fucking basement tune that ruins it for the rest of it.
>0:08
Not all of these are terrible, some, like Fuzz Power are actually kinda good.
youtube.com
because this thread needs more so-bad-it's-good
Tim Follin is a gem
Yeah its because it is a meme. Some of my favorite music in DC comes when the Hunters invade the mansion. I also like how some of the mansion music in the beginning of the game has abrupt starts and stops depending on which room or hall you are in.
Not very Doom-like, but pretty catchy.
youtube.com
im fucking cumming
This is pretty hilarious
>not posting the actually so bad it's good one
youtube.com
I barely believe this is really a SNES song
>tfw 0:49 hits
>so-bad-it's-good
FEAR AND AWE
IN YOUR EYES
youtube.com
holy fuck 1:39
holy fuck right after that
holy fuck this fucking song
Nah, PC started dominating in the early 90s.
Doom came out in 93. The console ports for it pretty much suck ass compared to the PC version.
>Detroit CCTV audio track
Hidden, good NES-era OST thread?
youtube.com
Did chris o neill name this game?
