I think if we get another one its obviously not gonna be made by the original devs and just be a shadow of a good game. The rights have sold one or two times I think and it just won't have the same charm/writing. As much as I used to want to want this, with all the dlc, microtransactions, and online only play nowadays I just hope it stays dead. Unless a miracle happens and we get the a lot of the original team who actually cared about the game.

yeah. and I reconized trevor as well but I was like holy shit that can't be him. 10/10. Henry doesn't act immediately like jack in the movie but I can see where they put that in. Seems like he takes the role of both cain and jack mixed together. its excellent. I didn't know Steven Ogg had good acting chops but god damn, I'd like to see him in more stuff.

The only way Alex could have been more like Trevor is if he tried to have sex with Jack. He shares a lot of mannerisms with Trevor.

Yeah. Typically I don't watch stuff suggested here but the last two films, one being this one and the other being the void were excellent.

This game made me remember that I went through a Goth phase and made me feel comfortable with it. Listened to Lacuna Coil and other industrial bands during early teen years but just kind of "forgot" about them for a long time until I started playing VtMB a lot. Chiasm, Genitorturers, and Lacuna Coil are still making music.

I've been waiting for a good time to watch He Never Died, and also Lost Boys.

For some other vampire movies, the first Blade is decent, and Let Me In (which is a remake I think, the original is called Let the Right One In which some say is better) is good too. Daybreakers is okay, pretty different from other vamp stuff.

Goddamn the combat in this game is absolute ass.

Ranged combat is fine, and melee combat gets a lot better once you learn the best way to use different attack directions and quirks with each weapon. When you're using the katana, doing a few forward slashes before finishing the combo makes it work better. The fire axe is better for attacking downed enemies, etc. And disciplines/having to feed make it a bit better too. It actually gets more fun once you figure all that out.

If you use guns then it's just generic. It's not good or anything, but it's acceptable. Except the early game guns are all shit so they're not fun to use either.

Near Dark is fucking awesome, I just discovered it this past Halloween. Loved that movie.

Necroscope I think is underrated, it seems semi popular but I never see anyone mention it. I'm at the book blood brothers which is after harry dies. TGhere are a ton of books and spinoffs though. I think necroscope: source (the third) was my favorite so far but all of them good.

Before or after Jeanette tells you that it's not really charity money? Because not losing humanity when you know the truth behind it makes sense.

After she tells you, yeah. It does make sense like that (at least as long as you believe Jeanette, which maybe you shouldn't), but it's still a change from vanilla. The basic patch is just meant to be bugfixes, so it doesn't really belong, even if it reasonable.

I think this could be a plausible reason for why you still lose humanity. Just because she says it doesn't mean it's true or that your character will immediately feel comfortable with it. Hopefully I can get Wesp to undo the other things eventually because I've seen a few other people say they also don't like these changes.

You can see this in earlier editions and supplements that would give you insane fleshed out dungeons and how you got there, what the related story was, etc wasn't really important.

I want this too because it would mean better FPS. It usually stays above 30 fps which is acceptable but you can tell when it drops a bit and doesn't feel as smooth.

Good? Yeah, kinda. It's not 10/10 kino or anything but it's different to all the other capeshit that's come out. If you're an Aussie, New Zealander, or a fan of Waititi work you'll enjoy it. It has a real 'larrikin' flavour to it.

Seconded, it's a top tier movie

First half an hour or so is honestly terrible, but it picks up later and becomes decent-to-good. Much more comicbook-like in atmosphere, which is I guess a good thing, but man, there was way too many jokes in there. Like, there were some scenes that could be legitimately great if not for the fact that they just had to put a fucking joke in there. Honestly not even a good one.

I think it's harder to find people for that kind of project because it's more like real work instead of a creative endeavor, unfortunately. A lot of people probably don't care that much about the benefits of an engine update either.

You are right and I think its still a shame that people wont get to to see higher polygon models all around with better lightning and textures.
If anything those who will make this project happen I am sure they will get the spotlight in the media just like Black Messa did.
This is a chance for small time indie devs to get together and leave a footprint on the industry.
Honestly people surprise me with their stubbornness.
They are ok with creating 1000 pixelated clones in 2D but run like plague when an opportunity presents to put something on their resume.
