I've seen a lot of places give it a 2/5 and that feels right to me. Only high points are the space combat and visuals, everything else is bland or just not fun.

And you know what? The space combat was all handled by Criterion, not Dice. Really makes you wonder why we need the Battlefront part at all and we don't just get a new Rogue Squadron game from Criterion.

Not defending the game or its bullshit progression system in any way but I can't help but feel that the majority of those sites went back and lowered their initial score so that they wouldn't catch any of the shitstorm around the game.

For sure. I'm glad people are raking this game over the coals but you can bet your ass that if people weren't so angry then reviews would've been much better

by designing all progression around pay to win microtransactions and rushing the game out in an unfinished buggy state
