Yes, very much so. Gunplay was very satisfying and I felt it was a very good balance of difficulty. Not too easy, not too hard, I just had to untrain myself from expecting my health to automatically regen.

Back then I thought learning how to avoid the physics glitches was part of skill. If you play it correctly Sonic won't fall off the loop de loops or the fall through the ground or whatever. I used to think it made sense that being fast was hard to control.

future perfect is a better game, but timesplitters 2 on hard is near impossible
