Good game but needed another year in the oven for polish

>another year in the oven for polish
I thought the game was about Egyptians not Jews

I'm not really sure what another year could have added.

Don't think another year would've fixed the writing.

Optimisation for one.

The games framerate is decent but it could be better. The sound of dialogue is poorly compressed too. There's lots of little problems that could've been fixed with time.

for side missions it would have, fleshing them out a bit

So...basically the same as every Ass Creed?

It's funny but I feel that most of the side quests had better pacing and plot than the main quest did.

YES

haven't finished the game but many side missions I did were little more than fetch quests, or very straight to the point
did like the detective ones though

WE

You'll find some pretty hefty ones later on that involve multiple side quests. Some of the earlier shit like getting that book of the dead for the old guy are just fetch quests with little in the way of story, I agree.

crackwhen?

My first AC was IV:Black Flag. I enjoyed it alot, then I played AC III and it fucking sucked, everybody told me to stay away from the series.

Fastforward some years I see ACOrigins and I have to say I really want to play it, (besides, I have a boner for Egypt) Is it better than Black Flag? is it alteast worth the time?

It does a lot of shit different. Just wait for a sale like I do

Depends, what did you like about Black Flag and what didn't you like about it? You won't be sailing ships all the time, no shanties or anything piratey. No tailing missions though, fuck those so much.

Have they fixed the cut scene stutter yet?

Nope.

It took the best of all of them.

Amazing game and a technical jewel. A shame it gets so few visibility or nominations.
My GOTY by far, better than Witcher 3.

another year in the oven?... more like... another JEW in the oven lmao

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than witcher 3, but definitely a good game. best AC since 2.

holy kek, fpbp

It's worth your time if you like big maps and exploring things. If you enjoyed Black Flag you should enjoy this, especially considering it was made by the same development team.

On the other hand, unfortunately, it's nowhere nearly as good as BF. The shit combat is the worst and the leveling system is inherently antithetical to the fact that the game tries to be more open-ended. There's also a fuckload of glitches and stupid padding.

Nah, it's way better than the 2, and I love 2 a lot.
The Witcher story is more accessible and fun to follow but that's all. I would have enjoy better a story based on political influence and not only vengeance.

The exploration, magic and fight systems are pretty simple compared to the amazingly huge technical systems proposed by Origins.

Also, the fashion is better. Simply the most beautiful game I ever seen. Pic related.

and this one

>Just PC gamer problems.
Game runs fine on my PS4:P.

...

...

...

Optimization obviously won't be an issue if you drop all the settings to low/medium.

But yeah I'm holding off on buying it for PC until they fix the crappy performance

the game is beautiful.
Ubi is actually doing pretty great so far on graphic terms, I'm just not so hot on the stories still..
also is that running on PC?

>Game runs fine
>Runs at 30 FPS

...

First laugh in a long time.

Probably not good on a toaster, but it looks like an amazing optimization work.
Like I said, in the eyes of a dev, this game is by far the GOTY and a technical jewel (will soon play super mario odyssey but I doubt it's better (but funnier for kids)).

Which is fine, it's not great but it's fine.

Anything below 60 is unplayable.

...

For you maybe and really, nobody cares about your opinion.

it will run 60 fps in few years, just let the hardware get stronger.

It runs at 60 FPS on my 1080 Ti and R5 1600.

...

Looks a little bit pixelized but I guess it's acceptable with silky smooth fps.

60 fps at what resolution? A 1080 Ti is the 2nd best GPU on the consumer market. It can take most games to 4k with 30-60fps by itself.

Okay last one I'm off to bed.

Exploring tombs is fun but better puzzle would be nice

I mostly get 60fps at 4k on a 1080. Cities drop it down to 45ish though but that's due to my i5 I assume.

WE

>better than Witcher 3

Hard to guess what type of mechanism Egyptians used to protect their tombs, but the better and most commonly used was to hide them in bunkers.
Also, the tombs were pilled a long time ago before the Ptholeme era (a few years after the Jews left (mostly when Salomon and Mathusalem dynasties came out of nothing full of gold (not saying the Hebrews (ancient slaves (probably builders of tombs)) came back to steal Pharaoes (nor that the last King TothAnkhAmon, unleashed in 1922, summoned the holocaust from spirits of the underworld to punish them)))).

Less chariots in tombs would have been better, because it's a late technological feature brought by Hyksos. I guess it's somewhat a detail.

>it's fine

No it's fucking not. I absolutely don't mind playing games at 30 if I can't avoid it or my hardware isn't good enough. However if I hypothetically owned 4x 1080Ti SLI and an i9 and a game runs below 60 and looks like shit, then you can go fuck yourself.

In other words: A AAA game like assassins creed that looks okay but runs like shit is absolutely unacceptable.

If you liked BF and have an egyptian boner, you should like it, even more if you enjoyed Witcher 3's and Horizon's open worlds

tl;dr

>2 sentences

Fucking ADHD. Get yourself checked.

>implying they playtest AAA titles

The indoor areas are so fucking sexy
