Is the mascot platformer back for good?
How do we add to the genre?
3D Platformers
I want Ape Escape 4
^this
Since it'll be brought up sooner or later, a Hat in Time was really fun.
>cites a bunch if bad games
no
>back for good
No its not. Yooka laylee failed, crash remastered was good but dont expect any sequel since the game was riding on nostalgia amd dark souls memes and mario is well... mario he'll always be the face of nintendo
making one now. ill let you know when you can preorder. should be 2 years
>shadman
is it really from him?
>taking the time to make an actual game
>not building a mobile game instead and raping the user base for every cent they have.
i already have several mobile games.
>Yooka-Laylee and a fucking remake
Try again
Yooka was a big fat fail, but all the others, Cuphead, Hatgirl, Shovel/Plague Knight show there's still lots of life left in the genera. Even Crash and Rayman have gotten back into the scene, and Sonic Mania reminded everyone what a GOOD Sanic game is like. Mario is no longer alone!
Trash Bandicoot has always been mediocre and the remake was just outright shit with how gimped the physics and platforming mechanics were.
>Yooka was a big fat fail
According to who?
Hardmode: reviews don't count
>don't expect any sequels
It's happening mate, it's easy to see that Activision are definitely pushing him more with new merch and shit and adding him to their websites in main focus next to CoD and Destiny.
Just the majority of the people who played it lol.
What's wrong kiddo, high road kick your ass?
Those don't count either.
It wont be back until they remake Spyro.
I liked Yooka-Laylee.
And every other platformer mentioned in this thread so far.
That's good to hear but you're a minority.
>Gimped
Harder then original.
First post best post why are they not even trying?
Replace Yooka with A Hat in Time please.
>No yo noid II
Pleb
>Yooka relevant in any way to modern platformers
Just let it go Jim.
