What would be the best components to get for a $600 or a $650 gaming build. I'm also trying to keep a black and red theme to it.

do you have a windows 7 or 8/8.1 key available? You can legally activate windows 10 with it
the rest of the build is solid for the price, except for 1) really do try to get a 1080p monitor; and 2) you don't need a 650w psu, but I doubt you would find a good quality, lower wattage psu for that price.
Good build although I personally wouldn't go with pentium anymore as more and more games go multi-threaded.
If you're buying and OEM windows key they are much cheaper at other sites than the one picked. Namely Kinguin.

Yeh, the PSU is kinda overkill.
Ditch the DVD drive.
Find a cheap W10 key on kinguin or just fucking pirate 7, M$ doesn't give a fuck.
Get a 1080p monitor.
First you dont buy Windows 10 from there you buy a key from ebay for almost nothing.
Second just drop the hard drive and get a 250gb ssd. Yes its not a lot of space but the speed is worth it.
Add a hard drive when you get some more cash.
I wouldnt settle for anything under a 1060 myself but there is the 1050ti.
Get some cheaper ram im sure there are some there to choose from.
Get a lower wattage PSU, your not gonna be using 650W I run a 650W for a no budget build
And drop the CD/DVD drive, who even uses these anymore?
>drop the hard drive and get a 250gb ssd
LOL
Enjoy your ancient speed.

$100 ssd

If possible really try to budget in an ssd. The parts are actually pretty good for the price you are going for. As others mentioned, use kinguin for a windows 10 key, they work everytime. I have a PC side business and include the same parts pretty much for the budget builds although I have never used Zotac. Here is a bench I did using pretty much the same parts you posted but I use 4GBx2 DDR4.

Don't buy windows or buy those windows oem if you really want to.
Even 450 to 400 watts is enough for a budget build. 500w for some futureproofing. Don't buy that.
Buy a 1080p monitor.
Don't buy that keyboard/mouse. Mouse sucks. Just buy those really cheap tier mouse/keyboard.
>buy ssd
People's recommendation here are worse than Sup Forums.
You will likely get better recommendations in /lgbt/ than here on Sup Forums.
OK buddy live with a slow ass hard drive because you really need all that space for your porn.
Buy a new PC and its no faster than one from 5 years ago because you stuck a hard drive in it as your main drive.
OK buddy go be a retard somewhere else.
Seriously, I don't build a PC without a SSD in it, they are that big of a change in performance. Buy a 120GB if you have to and store the big stuff on the HDD. Make a shortcut from your downloads so your browser downloads go to the HDD. Using someone elses computer without one (because I work on them all the time) kills me and don't understand how people can stand it.

Will just end up complaining that playing on pc is shit and expensive
"PC is just as expensive as console" is an old meme, even when it was true it didn't mean much, it was just because consoles are outdated crap.
This build is a waste of money, don't do it
Either you have a bigger budget or you're retarded and that means this thread is full of idiotic retards.
Lol, just buy this part
I think your the retard here
Did an ssd die on you? Made you sad you lost your stuff beacuse some guy on a basket weaving forum told you to get one? Now you hate ssd's?
You should save up more money and not build a piece of shit.
The SSD actually makes a difference in some games and will make everything feel smoother and quicker. It's not a bad investment, but not a necessary one either since a regular HDD will do the job just fine.
I would aim for 12gb of ranminimal if possible.
You're better off saving a few bucks for the TI version of the 1050 since VRAM is very important with most games now days.
Find an older copy of Windows and get the free upgrade if possible.
Only a 350w PSU should be efficient enough to run everything. It's a decent mid range build that runs everything, but not at max.
Get a $100~ ssd and use it as your boot drive.
I use CD/DVD drives for OS CD's and the odd DVD's I own from years ago.
>retard can't comprehend why he's retarded
You're a hopeless case buddy.
Youre a retard. Most computers need an ssd and a new gpu and are good to go.
