Why do people ignore the lore of Resident Evil? It's fully explained why Chris changed from his REmake appearance to his RE5 appearance. At the end of code veronica he got beat up by Wesker and was upset and depressed about it. He didn't want it to happen again so he worked out like crazy and took steroids so he could be strong as fuck to beat Wesker the next time he meets him.
