it's a lot of work but poke floats is worth it trust me
I mean Final Destination. All of those moving stages are completely unplayable.
tourneyfag
I don't mind most of the stages, but it's clear that a flat platform is the best.
battlefield, dreamland and yoshi's are way more crucial than FD
You've had FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS to unlock it. No excuses.
16 at this point. Melee's birthday was yesterday. I did unlock it a while ago, but it took forever.
>not fight club
Pokefloats was alloed in tourneys at first because you could just memorize the patterns so it was fair game, but people realized fox had an unfair advantage on that stage so they banned it.
When you get stuck in the cave it ruins everything.
I wish Smash 4 had stages more akin to Mekee's. Simple but with just enough of a gimmick/alteration that it caters to fun and hectic game play. Not 'lol jump in barrels and become microscopic' or 'haha Yellow Devil come to play xD'. 3DS ver. Had really Melee esque stages at least.
At least it isn't as bad as unlocking THIS
he was my favorite character before I learned about tier lists and competitive melee
I wish I could go back to those days
>not just cheesing Event 51 with Jigglypuff
Brawl has the same sort of problem. Everything has to have a hazard that can kill you at a moments notice. It's obnoxious.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I hate criticizing dumbass stages like Pac-Land and getting called a butthurt tourneyfag.
In Melee I felt like I could throw a dart at the stage select screen and almost always have fun. Brawl and 4 have stages that are practically unplayable. Everything has to bounce you around or rotate the camera. Less is more with hazards in Smash.
Also, fuck the Flying Man from the 3DS Earthbound stage.
I feel like items have the same problem.
The Galaga fucker or Beetle are just "fuck you you die" items.
I feel like they're trying too hard to put in lolsorandom shit and the game suffers as a result.
Call me paranoid but I think the rng leans towards the AI when it comes to the pokeballs. Passive mons like Munchlax seem more common when a player uses the pokeball, but the AI seems more likely to bag a Kyogre or Latios; pokemon that actually target and attack.
Also, crates and capsules seem to explode more often ever since Brawl.
