Absolutely not. Wait until the 2nd expansion

Cool deals on GameStop. I'll just or...

Are there even any good JRPGs on sale this time? I saw Nier:Automata is going for around $20 at a couple of places, but that's more of an action game isn't it?

any good 3ds games in canada? i bought the 3ds xl over a year ago and i only have two games for it

persona 5 maybe?

And then what? Pay 90 bucks because it's not on sale when they're out? He's not buying the deluxe edition. If OP wants some fun 40 hours before the game gets tedious, then yes, 30 bucks is fine. If you want a 500 hour game for 30 bucks, don't buy it.

Best Buy has Nier: Automata for 25 dollarydoos

thinking about pulling the trigger

Ahhh, I keep breaking sites left and right.

Please dont, to be 100% honest if anything just buy destiny edition with all the DLC, I get its not "in" rn but its way better than D2, all D2 did was take steps back. Coming from someone who had 1500 hours in D1 and quit after 30 in D2 (no joke)

Any good deals on 120-144hz displays out there?

Nah. The combat can be pretty fun but that's all there is to say about it. The weapons are even more samey than borderlands, especially in terms of aesthetics. The maps are full of just kind of wasted space where there's just nothing of interest. The "global events" are all static. They never change locations, they never change objectives, and as far as I can tell they never change enemies. Seriously wasted potential if you ask me.

Oh and as far as I can tell there's really no way to talk to people who aren't party members or whatever. So that "social area" known as the farm? Yeah, not gonna do a lot of socializing there.

OP's looking into the PC version I think
There's no PC version for the original Destiny

just buy the first destiny with the complete edition thing, is like 30 bucks out there. With first destiny gaem you have like 3000+ hours and a stable but not really large community (because 2). I hope this helps someone with the doubt about buying destiny

I think anons right, hes looking for P.C. So if he doesnt have a xbox or ps4 then I'd just say straight up no for awhile

Oh yeah and this might just be me being a little jaded since I played The Division and Payday 2 before it but the weapon customization kind of sucks. Maybe it gets better with unique weapons but from what I saw as far as appearances and customization goes, it generally boils down to whether you want a scope or an RDS and if you've got them, which paint jobs you want for the gun. Again, this isn't helped by how samey the weapons are either. It doesn't really seem like it's got Borderlands or The Division's weapons which are sort of procedurally generated from different parts. As far as I can tell you've got a fixed number of models and that's it.

Destiny 1 sold the year 2 and year 3 bundles at $60 when the expansions launched, and dropped to 40 within two months. I’d expect more of the same

Best Buy fucked for anyone else?

Any online deals with Mario Maker and/or Miitopia?
3ds

Yeah. Can't get to payment. Trying to get persona and tekken.

Sure, especially with a new expansion coming! Buy it now, buy it, buy it before anyone tells you otherwise goym.

Everything will be sold out by the time Best Buy lets me complete an order. I'm still wondering why GCU isn't doing anything, when it's the day before Black Friday.

i fucking love destiny
i'd wait

Wargrame is free and I'm getting to 500 hours in that

I'm so happy that TWO TOKENS has become such a meme. The second i heard them say "most rewarding pubic event" and then the "reward" was just two chests that vomited out one token each and a small amount of glimmer I lost both my sides.

Is there any chance of either GW2 expansion getting discounted?

...

microcenter.com/product/409464/VG248QE_24_1080p_144Hz_3D_Gaming_LED_Monitor

No it isn't
You'll be buying what's basically a peer to peer game with no social features that will charge you 30$ every 3 months to keep going

God damnit, they have the best deals too in terms of vidya

>I'm so happy that TWO TOKENS has become such a meme.
I legit made both "TWO TOKENS" images in rotation at the moment, I'm pushing this shit everywhere I can, maybe if it spreads enough they'll feel some fucking embarrassment for once (Doubtful).

>Just came out
>is already on sale for half off

kek

also, is the new Bomberman game worth it for $25?

>microcenter.com/product/409464/VG248QE_24_1080p_144Hz_3D_Gaming_LED_Monitor
I bought and returned that
The pixel color quality was garbage
All the blues blended together and it was overly dark

>There was a problem adding your product to cart.

don't fuck me in the ass like this, Best Buy

Nope absolutely not. A friend of mine bought me the game and I got tired of it after about a week. There is absolutely nothing to do once you've progressed to a certain point. Everything is incredibly repetitive. On top of all there already DLC which will be aviable shortly despite the game still being ''fresh''.

If you want a grindy game, play warframe or something.

should i be worried that its already 50% off despite being released two months ago?

>If you want a grindy game, play warframe or something.
Your money will go further there anyway, since you can buy anything ala carte, or just make it yourself for free but take a bit longer.

I'm more worried that you're mentally retarded

is it a digital code or physical copy? I don't want to wait but i want to buy.

Why are you guys buying online? Just wait until Friday.

Black Friday deals are online now

Should I get Nier: Automata or Yakuza 0?

Yakuza 0 has more replay value and content

ah nvm, only saw the switch version at first

bro xenoverse 2 came out like a year ago

Why is nobody doing a deal on mario and rabbids Kingdom battle? CMON UBISHIT, YOU'LL MARK DOWN WE WUZ BUT NOT RABBIDS?

Are you nuts? There's a reason Best Buy and GameStop is crashing. There will be nothing left by the time Black Friday starts.

>Black Friday starts on Friday

Destiny 2 is great if you weren't so crazy about the MMO aspects from D1. If you like a typical action adventure shooter with a bunch of party options it's a good pick.

However the loot is a lot of either reskins from D1 or just palate swaps of the same legendary. Strikes are pointless right now, Nightfall is do it once a week and wait til the next one. Raid isn't bad but prestige raid is pointless too. The token rng setup for equipment is slow and frustrating.

I liked it personally but the consensus from the "hardcore" community is that you put a couple hundred hours in it and wait until the next expansion. A good deal for 30 dollars imo

...

botw for 30 dollars is a pretty good deal desu.

A lack of chat really makes this game frustrating. You typically have to go through a 3rd party site, get profiles together, party up and then you're working together.

asscreed origins already on sale

Anyone play sports games in here? I only have a 360, is this or 18 when it comes out worth getting a PS4 for if you're a baseball fan?

i dont think anythings gonna be sold out thanks to in store pick ups

Wait until The Taken Queen

Game is complete garbo now and even the expansions aren’t adding anything worth value

If you are a Mariners fan, get 17 for cheap.

For any other reason, wait for 18.

oh, and yes to a degree. If you love baseball and are sick of OOTP, the show will be loads of fun. but never buy a console for just one game.

Feels alright. I pre-ordered it with the $10 credit from Fractured But Whole.

Yes. It's a great game, it's just not worth updating every year.

Okay so I'm not sure what to get now...

I'm edging on a PS4 Slim with Gravity Rush Remastered + 2 and Persona 5, but that's it. Any other PS4 games worth getting or should I just scrap all that and buy PC parts...

bloodborne

Is Disgaea 5 Complete worth $40? Best Buy already sold out.

I dont like Dark Souls though

bloodborne

It's not even worth the sale price considering it's dog shit.

just pick it up in store

If you haven't played the witcher it's great. Horizon is also a pretty good deal for 20 dollars. If you like japanese stuff like Persona the Yakuza games are pretty fun too.

Oh yeah, obviously there are other games I'm interested in, and I have been wanting to get into Japanese games a little more. Plus a lot of my friends already have a PS4. Does it run okay on a Slim or should I just get the Pro? I have almost $1500 saved up but I don't play enough for a PC to be worth the investment, plus it'll be pretty lonely.

What's a good hard drive? I heard WD was the best brand for these things but there are so many variations and I just want an HDD for storage instead of some meme "gaming" HDD that dies in 3 months.

Where's it that cheap? I might cave in on that.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you just want a great feeling shooter to play through all the content on offer and then put down, Destiny 2 is a huge step up over the previous game and great fun in that regard. If you want an MMO-like experience or an involved loot/grinding game then you will probably be disappointed with the game as it is right now. The endgame is abysmal.

I got it for $60 and I always end up calling it the most polished turd ever. It oozes quality and polish while simultaneously having glaringly questionable design choices. I think it's enjoyable though.

you can get a pro if you want, but I personally just went with a slim because I don't have a 4K TV and it was $200. The game runs fine on the slim. I feel like the Pro is just this cheap attempt that Sony is trying to milk before the PS5 comes out with the real shit.

Oh shit, Best Buy fixed the site and the prices are actually cheaper than they were at 1:00AM.

>Disgaea 5 for the Switch immediately sold out on Best Buy's site update and wasn't able to get it

I'm glad it's fixed for you, but it's still shit for me. I've been trying to buy Bloodborne and Nier Automata for 20 fucking minutes

Maybe it's just me but I don't know what they could do for a ps5. I know there's better hardware they could be using but it'd cause for a pretty high price tag. I remember the fit that the internet collectively threw for 599 price tag on the fat ps3's.

I imagine it's gonna be 4-5 years out at this point.

>Heads up! Disgaea 5 Complete Standard Edition - Nintendo Switch is currently out of stock. Please remove this item or save it for later.

Early and mid game is pretty good; you'll get your money's worth
End game is a joke and the state of pvp is as stale as ever unless you play defender with synthoceps. It also doesn't seem like this upcoming expansion is going to fix shit

>a few days before, local Best Buy suddenly removed the 4 copies they had in-store to make sure it was an online-only item.

Walmart had a price error. Had to cop fast.

All of Destiny 2's issues stem from how Bungie's development cycle is structured. You have a main development team that makes up the bulk of the studio, and a secondary team that works on the DLCs/Expansions and live updates. The main development team started working on Destiny 2 back in 2014 basically right after the original launched, and it is very clear that they formed all of their design goals based on knee jerk reactions to that game's initial reception. By the time the secondary team managed to turn things around with D1, it was already far too late for them to just change gears with D2 even if they did realize the direction they went was a short sighted mistake.

Okay, seems like the slim is the better option then. A few more questions, I saw that 17 has some features that I think are pretty cool, like the retro mode, Diamond Dynasty and the bit of role playing in the OC campaign. I do prefer to get 18 because of the updated rosters and graphical features along with the Aaron Judge cover (stankees fan I know), from your experience, do gameplay features from the previous The Show games carry over into the newer ones? Or is the franchise like Pokemon in that regard. Also, I've seen some people use older players like Ruth, Robinson, Williams and so on. Is it particularly difficult to get access to those guys, and how many older players are in the game?

Destiny 2 is given away with all GPU purchases, in trying to sell my copy for 20 bucks but nobody wants it

PVP is a lot better on PC, many more weapon types are viable and it plays a lot faster.

The game is great if you have people you can rely on to do the raids with you. They're no pushover and they're surprisingly deep for what is essentially a console game with dumb users. I have a background in high level WoW raiding (used to be US top 200) and was pleasantly surprised to find that the mechanics in Destiny were both punishing and unique.

With that said, everything else fucking BORING. Maybe it's just not my type of game, but the story is passable, the quests are just fetchy nonsense, the single player experience never gets any more complicated than "go shoot something".

If you are planning to play alone, just don't.

>decide hell with it and go for Horizon since it's $20 and I've been wanting a decent open world game
>BB won't let me add it to cart anymore but it's still available

God damn it, stop playing with me you sonsofbitches

You can probably price match through best buy support.

it really depends, like most sports games. some features work, some get removed. I imagine Diamond Dynasty will be back, but the retro mode may get cut. I haven't really been keeping up with 18, so I don't know. But it will most likely be incredibly similar to 17 content wise.

Like the other user said, don't buy them every year. I normally wait 3 years when it comes to sports games.

Yeah pretty much the same problem with the first game. The story aspect could just be cut in half in favor of putting in at LEAST 3 raids pre-DLC. Instead, we get boring shit and a single damn raid...

Destiny's raids are basically an entirely different game compared to the rest of the PVE content, and there isn't really anything else like them in a shooter as far as I know. The worst part of D2 being done as a sequel is that all of the other raids from the original game got left behind.

The raids are made by a separate dedicated team, making less story missions or strikes wouldn't magically result in more raids.

Does the 60$ deal on the blizzard store that has the two expansion passes come with the new expansions?
I just want a mmo that I can raid in, I would subscribe to wow again but it's already at the end of the expansion.

The raids remind me a lot of Burning Crusade heroics. Just instead of difficult trash mobs, you get 10 minute long boss fights involving multiple phases and different positional and timing-based mechanics.

Where should I get a nice laptop where I can casually play games and shit and what price range/brand should I look for ?

I already got tricked into buying a mouse and keyboard

Does stuff really get sold out very quickly and they don't restock it? I'll be fine going to a store tomorrow to pick up a PS4 and games right?

Not even worth $10

Just about to finish AC:O. I've had fun with it, which is surprising since Black Flags was the only other AC I've had fun with. Probably going to pick up H:ZD too. Time to see if it is all it is cracked up to be visually. I mean hell, TLoU was praised to hell and back for its visuals, yet I only tried the BETTER PS4 version, yet it still looked like crap. Hell, even the company's own Uncharted games felt like they looked better.

New South Park is $29 on Walmart right now.

my dude it was cheaper before the sale if you had GCU, it's been 14.99 for a week already

>Southpark
Might as well start growing a beard, buy thick glasses and start becoming vegan
