So this is the computer i'm thinking go getting for gaming. Primarily WoW, Warhammer Total War II, Age of Empires 4 and other Blizzard games.
So what do you guys think. Advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm purchasing the Chronos for the size because i travel and live abroad.
ORIGIN Chronos
Power Supply: 450 Watt Silverstone SFX Series Motherboard: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac System Cooling: ORIGIN FROSTBYTE 120 Sealed Liquid Cooling System for 1151 Socket
Processors: Intel Core i5 8400 6-Core 2.8GHz (4.0GHz TurboBoost) Graphic Cards: Single 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Memory: 16GB ORIGIN PC DDR4 Powered by Kingston 3000MHz (2 X 8GB)
1700 USD, with everything. No shipping cost. Its the size and the mobility i like most about it.
But honestly, what do you think of the specs for the games im playing?
Evan Turner
assemble your PC yourself. Pre-built PCs usually come with an insane markup
>$1700 for a PC that probably costs $1200 to make >paying for Windows
Parker Hill
Pro advice, but i don't think i could build a computer of that size. Currently teaching English in Mexico and mobility is key.
Nolan Reed
> markup > not cheaper because of economies of scale
Surely you can’t be serious. Otherwise people would build their own cars. Computers are almost always cheaper from an OEM.
Unless you like the for-dummies-waste-of-your-time PC building process...
Ian Morgan
Alright let's get this started >450w Terrible >Liquid cooling CPU can't be overclocked, pointless >1070ti Either pay a little more for a 1080, or go for 1070. 1070ti is shit price for performance >Tiny SSD with no HDD for storage >Paying for windows >Windows 10 >Paying for windows 10 >$1700
Christopher Green
Overpriced, AND an overkill for the shit you play. You could run all those games on a 400$ potato build, at steady 60fps and 1080p.
Luke Lewis
>prebuilts are cheaper
ironic shitposting is still shitposting
Dominic Martin
Kill yourself retarded blizzdrone.
Aiden Reyes
>Tiny SSD with no HDD for storage
I could always instal more storage, its a very upgradable machine.
Isaiah Powell
you're overpaying, but if you absolutely refuse to build your own pc, then it's fine. It's a good pc. Also, the games you mention are not particularly demanding in terms of hardware, so you could actually run them all on a much cheaper computer
John Stewart
will you seriously take your rig with you on the go?for what reason?
Anthony Thompson
So would you say picture related is better for my gaming needs? The Alpha R2? Again, looking for size mostly.
Lol, fuck off faggot. I'm too busy enjoying my life.
I'm an American teaching English abroad and i travel frequently and move cities. Currently in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Adam Hill
Thanks for advice user.
Austin Miller
>So would you say picture related is better for my gaming needs? No. A refurbished horizontal business Dell with i5 + slapped in GTX 1050ti low-profile card would be more to your needs, and cost a fraction of those shitty prebuilts you're staring at.
Carter Morris
The picture is pretty blurry - is that gpu exposed or is there acryl glass in front of it? If it's exposed then it's not mobile enough. Better look into gaming laptops, you should get plenty for the same price (or cheaper) and they fit into a backpack
Logan Jackson
If you're not so incompetetent that you're fine with installing a hard drive then why the hell are you buying a pre-built? Also, the HDD was really the smallest problem there.
James Bell
Certainly, not competent enough to build my own computer, especially one of this size.
Thanks for advice user, i will look into it.
If im going to buy a new computer, im going to buy a sexy one.
Wyatt Powell
If you can install a hard drive you can build a computer. Takes maybe an hour. Go to pcpartpicker.com and you'll find great recommendations, you'll be able to build the same PC for less, or a better one for the same amount.
Cameron Morgan
LMAO I GOT A I7 7700K AND 1080 BUILD FOR 1200
Andrew Sanchez
1 fan AIO liquid coolers are basically the same price as a high-quality air cooler nowadays.
you could build the same exact thing for 500 less.
Dominic Evans
>No HDD Nani? 250 GB is nothing, fine for installing Windows and a game or two but you need a big HDD
Jeremiah Torres
Why the fuck would you ever need a computer of either that size, price, or power to play fucking browser games you actual fucking retard
Kevin Adams
Why not just go with stock cooler if you can't even overclock? Even if you swapped to a K cpu down the line (same CPU gen of course, intel won't allow sockets to be relevant more than a year), you would probably need a PSU upgrade as well, 450w is shite. At this point OP is buying something that's already overpriced and he'll still need to upgrade to make the most out of the parts he's got.
Michael Reyes
Damn, your logic is undeniable. Thanks for the info amigos.
Jace Stewart
Build it yourself OP.
You can get a better GPU like a 1080 ti
Paying for a prebuilt is a bad idea. Theyre easy to make.
Gabriel Brooks
Holy shit yes, OP just buy this if you're a lazy nigger. This is actually pretty well priced for a prebuilt
