Is it worth getting?

Is it worth getting?

If you like wasting money and having a shit time

no

if you like ubisoft open world games than you might like it. i got it for free with my GPU purchase and dropped it like 3 hours in because its the same repetitive crap as always with ubisoft.

If you like doing repetitive 6-7/10 content over and over again just for a miniscule injection of dopamine as you hear the fanfare of objective completion, then it's worth getting.
If you have literally anything else that brings you happiness in your life, then no.

NO watched my autistic friend play this, it looks like shit, plays like every other AC game and is built on micro transaction

No.
It's different from other AC games, but unless you are willing to play repetitive and boring as fuck secondary missions, the game is short as fuck.

theres very little opportunity to climb, which makes sense, Egypt isn't known for towering structures.

Isnt that all this board does?

>Sup Forums
>having money

On PC there's like 4 fucking layers of DRM and basically if you don't own an i9 or a Xeon cpu your fps drops constantly below 35.

>No.
>It's different from other AC games

thats because it was originally be a prince of persia game

>Not installing it to continually dunk a dead guy's body into the water only to see him bug out and climb out of the water.

Assassin's Creed 1 once was a Prince of Persia title. Sooo, they slep the Title in it based in revenue.

I like it for what it tries and love the agypt setting. Objectivly it is a 6,5/10 plus 1 point of it's your first Ubisoft title. Minus 1 point for each Ubi Franchise you played from this gen.

dude no assassins creed is worth getting. its the same fucking gameplay they had since the first one in like 2005

You'd have a better time buying assassin's creed black flag again

Right decision on developer's behalf. Animes are in 8 fps, so you obviously don't need more. Image quality is where it is at. Those delicious chocolate pixels all over your white panel..

It is just nigger safety feature, built in by caring progressive developer. Digital black lives matter.

So I've bought the game and almost finished it and this is my honest recommendation.

First of all, if you got a low end PC dont even bother since one of the thing that the game got going on for itself is the graphics. The game is indeed beautiful but framerates issues are frequent and unforgivable for a triple a ( once you get inside a big city the game starts losing frames like fucking crazy til somewhat stabilizes).

The changes they made on combat are good and necessary ( that is no more locking in and counter-attacking even with no weapon). But even with that the game is too easy. There is a new nemesis mechanic with something called Phylakes (basically bounty hunters on your ass) and I swear they are the only kind of enemy thats gonna give your hard time since they hit like a truck. If you are a Souls/borne fag you will find the combat a really silly pastiche of their mechanics.

The story is decent to bad. What makes it decent is the setting ( like all AC, the idea of genetic memory and this whole jungian idea of collective knowledge that we can awake is good); what makes it bad is the characters : none of them I found appealing or believable. You dont get the sense of danger and mistery they are trying to convey. Writing and dialogue are really embarrassing sometimes. I might be jaded because I hated aya so much... cant really say.

The game is a good start for a revamp of the series. Wait for the second one if they learn from their mistakes. Not worth getting it for more than 30 €/$.
