Looking for a decent mouse that's not too expensive. Want to use it for all games but mostly for MMOs

Anyone got recommendations?

Is pic related decent?

I've used that one for years and never had a single problem with it. the program it comes with for mapping is decent too.

Any good for FPS as well? Would you say its good for a fingertip mouse user?

im currently using a razer hex. had it for about 2 years no problem but While razers are comfortable they usually are made of paper and break fairly easily. this one is doing well so far and its mapping program can do quite a bit especially in terms of the macro function.

Cant say about that mouse but ive always enjoyed mmo style mouses in general.

I generally use it to play warframe and ffxiv generally. I've never had any trouble aiming and I use a claw grip. 1-6 rests naturally on the first part of the thumb, 7-12 on the curve so you have access to them all without it feeling awkward.

I will mention however, it allows you to change the polling rate and acceleration and the default settings put a bad taste in your mouth. put polling rate to 1000 and acceleration to 0.

I just bought a Logitech G600 recently, it looks very much like your pic.
I'm happy with it. If you want a less 'gamer' looking mouse, get the Logitech G600 instead. Unless that mouse is just straight up superior in some way I don't know.

How? I've used it for 3 years - but that's 3 different mice. The clicks on mine wear out after 13 months on the dot every time.

Still cheaper than buying a Razer which maybe lasts 2 years, but costs over twice as much.

And I'm super careful with my shit. Like I don't use phone cases and my phones are all pristine.

probably the Cheetos dust clogging it up

You'll have to define 'not too expensive'

iirc the 'regular' razer naga wired is below 50 currently. I still have the 'old' razer naga, and it's never failed me in the past seven years.

I also own the G600, but it feels a bit too bulky for me. So that's just sitting there waiting on my naga to break, but it'll probably go over 10 years before that happens.

Maybe I just got lucky? I got my roommate one about a year after I got mine and theirs hasn't had any problems either.

Actually, I did have trouble with the scroll button not wanting to click for some reason a few months back, but I switched the fire key to middle button and after about a week it just started working again. So there's that, I guess.

...

>using the same mouse for mmos, other games, and general applications
Nigga, smart people have at least three mice

kekked

>buy Logitech g502
>'11 programmable buttons'
>there's only 6
>can only actually use g4 and g5 buttons in game, for some reason I can't bind g6 and g7
I'm upset

i have an mmo mouse and a Logitech mini. Mini is for sitting far away and just watching stuff on TV with my computer. MMO mouse is superior in every other game because you can bind extra functions to its keys for quicker more comfortable use. no longer have to stop moving to press shit

Yes, yes! That's it my son! Buy more mice!

You already know what to get

I have a G402, I used the mouse software software to bind the extra buttons to random keys like numpad *, -, +, home etc. to get around the problem of games not recognizing them.

logitech isn't what it used to be.
G600 should have been the way to go if you really wanted to stick with them.

yeah, the buttons on the 502 are pretty shit
excellent mouse otherwise imo

Consider Logitech G600.

hah ha, look at that shill spending his hard earned money on the things he wants!

Fucking kill yourself, commie

Ah, nice. I'll try that out

>If you want a less 'gamer' looking mouse

Yep, right here. I think every mouse like this is absolutely hideous. I just want something like this but with modern tech.

>getting mad on the internet

Neither the Razer Naga of the Logitech G600 have turbo-edgy designs. They're more practical than anything else.
Both have RGB lighting, but that can turned off or put on a constant brightness and colour.

>buying razer

Hope you enjoy having to return it 5 times because of production faults and then have it break on you after 2 years.

The G600 looks exactly like what I want. Thanks, user.

Razer mice are still quality products. It's what they built their brand on. If this were a keyboard thread, or some other peripheral besides mice, I would agree.

The G203 shouldn't be more than 35 bucks if that falls into the "not too expensive" category.

>i can't read: the post
just said it never failed me in the past seven years; don't get turbomad the second you see razer, without even finishing the sentence

inb4 THATS A FLUKE
haha, sure. pic related: literally you

>Mostly MMOS
Begone you fag.

I have this mouse. It's bulky but nice. I like it around 4k dpi and the side buttons are aright

This is probably the ugliest peripheral I've ever seen outside of some of those bizarre third party GameCube and PS2 controllers.

t. Razer marketing employee

only downsides on that mouse are lack of horizontal scroll and there's no internal memory so you'll have to run a program to remap thumb keys, other than that is great G600 alternative

Not gonna make another thread. Please someone help here
>mouse for FPS
>NEEDS NO DRIVER SOFTWARE BS RUNNING
>perfect sensor
please lads I'm begging

I really like the mouse wheel and the weights tho. I would've gotten a 600 but I just.... don't need all those buttons. I like having a couple but not too many you know?

some MUH FPS faggots swear by the Zowie mice, I believe they don't need anything like a driver

Er.... literally any mouse. Amy old office mouse, brand doesn't make a difference in fps games. If anything your framerate is the most important thing aside from skill anyway

well, if you're upset about the mouse not having 11 buttons, you're not just looking for 'a couple', but maybe I'm getting too much into your business.
The G600 has 12 thumb buttons; that's just one more than the 11 you're looking for.

I guess you're right. I'll pick one up I guess

make sure you're not a mouse-lifter in a situation where that might be important. cursor skips a bit when you lift it.

I googled G502 and I don't know what you're complaining about, you get 10 buttons + one G-shift button, so you can get extra 8 binds for when you hold down the G-shift button and press something else.

Absolute piece of shit. Not even kidding.

I got this mouse as well, has worked well for 6 years so far, rests comfortably in hand and I like the side buttons for MMOs, not as agile for FPS but I prefer a sturdier setup.

Don't mind me, best mouse ever built coming through

I honestly don't know who approved that godawful mouse design
