Loot boxes are not a good thing, they're just the highest profit to effort ratio companies can get away with, if they were legally allowed to set the chance of premium items to 0% but still advertise them as possible drops, they would. After all, why would you make 1000 skins selling them for $10 a piece, when you can just make 10 skins and stick them in $2 blind boxes that have 1:500 chance of dropping them.
