How is gow ultimate edition and gears of war 4 on pc? Seems there cheaper now, are they worth getting. Remember hearing the first one isn't optimized that well.

Campaign? Sure. Multiplayers got some real improvements over the previous ones such as control and removing the SO and some of the new executions. Some mixed stuff like the new weapons, and some straight up terrible stuff like the stupid lootboxes and a bunch of the new maps being mediocre.

I stopped playing the series after 3. It was honestly a fun little trilogy and a great coop game. I wish the PC versions less cancer to buy.

From what I heard gow ultimate edition is dead and it takes a lot of time to find a match, meanwhile gow 4 I have it and it's pretty good, it's always populated since it's crossplay with xbox meaning pc players can play with xbox players.

The most important thing you should know is that to unlock skins and characters there's lootboxes, you don't have to pay anything but it's just gonna take a bit longer to unlock stuff but the good thing about this is that all the 20+ dlc maps are free.

In my opinion it's worth it to have a lootboxes in exchange of free dlcs especially since you can unlock anything you want just by playing.

I don't even remember enough about it to conclude whether I liked it or not. The series peaked with 2 anyway, so it's not like I went into 4 expecting to be blown away or anything.

They had a rule during the VA phase to not have any recurring lines from previous games for the new characters. But yeah. Hopefully they up the dialog in the future games. It was weird because Marcus, Baird, and Cole were all fine, just the new cast.
