It's a rare oddity. A fairly high quality (comparatively) internet media franchise that used no advertising or inappropriate humor but was still both funny and captured this weird feeling of being alive in the 80s - early 2000s. As others have put it, it was a very pure venture clearly born out of two people's desire to be creative.
