Well, it doesn't look that bad judging from the recent trailers. I might check it out if the game offers some actual challenge, but if it's as easy as Hollow Realization I'll just give up on this series.

Also, not being forced to play as Kirito is a good thing. I made the huge mistake in trying to get into the series after enjoying Hollow Realization, now I can't believe how much I despise the main character now.

Well, at least I'll give you that. I enjoyed Hollow Realization and what the fans call the "gameverse", it was just after checking out the anime that I felt disgusted by this series.

That Alternative manga is not that bad I guess, cute girls with guns are something I always enjoy, and it's the reason I'm interested in this game.

In GGO, there are no "hitscan" weapons. All bullets have a travel time and the game has an assist system built in that shows predictive lines where bullets will come from. Basically he's seeing the lines indicating where the bullets will hit before they arrive and is knocking away the ones that are going to hit him.

GGO gives you prediction lines. Kirito's hacking abilities lets him dodge and block accordingly. Sniper's first shot is invisible though.

GGO literally draws big lines showing where bullets are about to go. Him, a guy with a pump action shotgun and another dude with dual SMGs all went full dex to the point where they can literally dodge bullets. It just isn't that viable because you need strength to carry guns and they get heavier as you go, so you're limited to peashooters.

Sinon, as a sniper, is built like a literal tank because she needs ridiculous amounts of strength to haul her rifle around.
